Came here sunday night, enjoyed a fancy rum on the rocks. They have a great selection of rum. We ordered the bahamian fish chowder. She had a cup I had a bowl, albeit pleasantly much larger than expected. Delicious, maybe the highlight of the night. For entree she had flounder royale, delicious! Mashed potatoes very creamy. I had boca style flounder, i found it to be too sweet for my taste. Tropical fried rice was decent. Followed all with a delicious rum runner 😊… should note seating is very loungy.

My friend and I were warmly greeted for lunch, and the ocean-themed atmosphere was bright and cheery. The waitresses were very helpful with lunch suggestions, and their recommendations were spot-on. The food arrived promptly, but I was disappointed by how salty it was—I went through three large iced teas. While I don’t have dietary restrictions, be mindful of the sodium levels. Overall, great atmosphere, service, and menu options.
The JAX Beach location is great with good parking. The atmosphere is clean with good vibes, and food is always excellent. My server TK was welcoming and just perfect. I have had many things here from wings, sushi, oysters, crab boil, … always very good. Tonight i had the Turf and Surf and everything was perfectly cooked and the sauce was excellent with lots of crab on top of 3 filet chunks, lots of food. Also had the clam chowder, which was so balanced, tons of meat… Perfect.
We don’t usually get seafood out because it’s rarely done correctly. We got too much food here but want to try a variety of foods. We had margaritas and rum neat. Started with a cup of clam chowder and fish chowder. The fish was better than the clam in our opinion. The clam did have a lot of clams in it. We also had the crab dip and fried avocado slices. The crab and spinach dip was very good while the fried avocado was good just unique. We split the captains platter. Fried (very lightly) shrimp, grouper and scallops. All cooked perfectly. The staff are friendly and welcoming, our server Kayla was great. Once you order the food doesn’t take long to come out. Overall no complaints at all with the restaurant.
Had dinner with my wife last night and definitely a spot worth checking out! Starting with the atmosphere, enjoyed the theme of the restaurant with its vibrant aqua colors. They have an outdoor patio to eat and relax although we dined indoors. The food was delicious as I ordered the Imperial Snapper. Rich creamy sauce was a nice addition to my fish along with the grilled vegetables and spinach rice with beans included. Overall a successful evening! Service was great overall with timely check ins incase we needed anything.
