Coming from a city with a much larger variety of options, I would say that the food is decent at best. It seems like they had a decent sit-down area for dine-in, which is a plus. They were planning for an event, so maybe that had something to do with the quality. As far as customer service, they weren’t necessarily rude, but they also didn’t go out of their way to be welcoming. The onions and peppers on top of the Griot were not pickled, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, they didn’t greet me when I came in, so after a few minutes, I had to initiate my order. If you’re in the area and hungry, I would recommend giving it a try; however, don’t expect it to be extraordinary. I give it 4 stars because I'm sure it's the best Haitian restaurant in the area. This is the best experience that I have had in Jacksonville with this type of cuisine. I was sick the day I went, on medication. I wasn't able to cook myself a home cooked meal. I wish I would have taken a picture because they cook me a big fish with red, yellow and green peppers and onions baked in the oven. I don't know what kind of seasoning they used but it was so delicious and when I ate that meal it made me feel better than I had been feeling for the past couple of days. I appreciate them for being there with the home cooked meal. I will surely be back, the customer service was very wholesome and friendly. Last year around August 2023, I was looking for Haitian food for my wedding reception. I spoke to Marjorie on the phone she was very personable and friendly. I let her know that I was interested in a large pan of griot for my wedding reception. She offered me a great deal. I paid half of the price upfront and the other half when I picked up the platter. My husband and I drove from 2 hours to pick up the platter and it did not disappoint. The owner was also very welcoming and treated us like family. He even gave us a personal plate of griot, plantain and piklis to try there before we drove back home. The griot was a big hit everyone enjoyed it at our reception. Thank you both so much! We will return back to 7 wonders bakery the next time we go to Jacksonville.

I had a bad experience today. I drove 30 minutes for some Haitian food and patties. They had no patties or breads, and the fish was very small for $30. The presentation of the food was very small in portions, and the owners' nonchalant attitude did not help either 🙄.
