I'm very disappointed in the management of Ducky's Car Wash in St. Augustine (Bay #4). I took my Jeep to be washed on May 22, 2026, and during the last 2 minutes of the wash the nozzle started sputtering violently due to air in the line. This has happened to me before, but there was actually someone there to help. I called the number twice (waited a few days in between) and gave the person over a week to call me and no one called. I'm not expecting a complete free wash, but a simple contact/apology would be nice. If you're going to own/run a business, then have good customer service and invest in your equipment. Finally, don't assume I'm trying to get a free car wash or car washes, I was completely honest on the voicemail stating it wasn't working at the end of the wash. My family has 4 vehicles to wash, so we've spent plenty of time/money washing vehicles at Ducky's Car Wash. Take care of your customers when things go wrong (and invest in the equipment so you don't have problems).

Best self service wash in St. John’s county. Machines take change, cash or CC. CC costs $2.00 more than if you pay cash. Newest equipment, water pressure is legit. The dials work. There are 6 vacuums and they seem to be in working order and look clean. The trash cans aren’t overflowing everywhere. Some of the stalls have air dryers that you can blow your vehicle off with. Spot free rinse actually works, which is just a delight & very hard to find. & there are a few vending machines available, that I did not use, just incase you forgot to bring something. I hope it stays this way for many years to come and doesn’t go down hill like the other ones in the area.
Well, let’s just put it this way. I’ve been going to the same car wash for about 10 years now it’s been taken by new management. It’s been just as good but with the help of the management team named David, who was there every time something went wrong with the mechanical of the air fresheners and what not was there to help me out no questions no problems no issues just a good person and grateful to have them around. Sorry to hear David is leaving thanks David. You’re a great man.
Great self wash car wash. I do not trust the automatic car washes; I know too many people who have had their vehicles damaged by them in some way. The water pressure is good. Soap is dispensed properly from the scrubbing brush and sprayer. They have a variety of car care products for sale from vending machines including drying cloths in case you forgot your shammy at home, which I did. Their change machine can take up to a $20 bill. I washed my Challenger (high pressure soap rinse, scrubbing soap brush, high pressure rinse) for $7 and that gave me ample time. I bought a $2 drying cloth for a total wash price of $9. I did not use their vacuums because I have my vehicles detailed once a month and then wash them by hand the rest of the time. So far this is the best self wash car wash I have found and I live in Palm Coast.
Monday, April 27 no high-pressure systems working six dollars wasted went to two different bays. Cars is now covered in pre-soak now I have to go home and rinse the car off defeats the whole purpose.
