A group of us were out looking for a random place to eat and came across SeaBoar Seafood and barbecue. None of us had been here before and decided to give it a try. Like most places these days, you order at the counter and grab it when they call your name. I got the large fried shrimp with mac n cheese and sweet potato casserole. The shrimp was delicious and plentiful however I wasn't a fan of the sides. My husband got the gator tail with fries and enjoyed all of it. I got a side of banana pudding as well and didn't care for it. I'm not saying the sides are bad, I'm just saying that I personally didn't care for them.
This place looks like it was in an old Popeyes. Food was amazing. Customer service was good. A little slow but everyone's attitude was fantastic. I don't mind waiting when people are pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place. Nice to find something that's not a national chain. While I was on vacation. I always try to find local things to try out. They're always better!
We have been coming here on a weekly basis for about a month now and the food is consistently great! Staff is friendly and always greets you as soon as you walk in the door. Prices and portions are fare. Hope to see this place stick around for a long time.
We were really disappointed when Smokey's closed. Glad another BBQ place came along. Interior remolding is nice. Sad to see that table service is gone. You have to order at the counter and then pick up at the window. Drive thru is a nice addition. Our visit on 3/9 was only their second week open. Turkey was average. Sausage was good. We will be back to try the seafood.
First time here, passed by few times and thought I would stop in. Got fried talapia, sweet potato casserole, mac & cheese. The talapia was perfectly fried, perfectly flakey, and perfectly seasoned. The sides were decent enough, the mac could have had more flavor but wasnt bad at all. Cant say how long they have been here, but it was slow with only 2 other orders in front of me. I would imagine business should be busier especially considering the price point for the amount of food & great quality the serve.
