Happy 75th Birthday San Marco Branch of the Jacksonville Public Library!! I have fond memories visiting as a child. Even now, as an adult, I still enjoy walking the rows of books in search of my next read. The staff are always friendly and helpful. ***I highly recommend visiting the branch or any branch throughout the city. I love books but FYI, the library has so much more to offer these days -and Library Cards are free!! So get one and check out all the library has to offer -books, ebooks, audiobooks, stream TV shows, movies, access professional resources, practice exams, etc… the digital resources go above and beyond and it’s all free to Duval County residents!! So check out a branch near you and let your journey begin!!!
awesome atmosphere. plenty of places to rest up and charge up. gets a little noisy when the high school lets out, so I always bring headphones
This review is based on my experience before the COVID pandemic existed. The San Marco branch is similar to any other great library in Jacksonville. Nice setup of the library and clean atmosphere. Staff is exceptional and helpful in pointing you to the right direction in finding book and movie recommendations. If you want a getaway for reading books or checking out movies, the San Marco branch is for you.

The employees there are amazing people who has went out of their way to help me when I ever came there. They are people who deals with all types of patriens that visit the library.
