Went here as part of my sister’s engagement party weekend. Leaving this review not to be mean or anything, just to inform. Pros: salt cave had a nice atmosphere. the massage staff were friendly. the room and waiting rooms were clean. Cons: no robes provided for the salt room feels stingy. we spent around $400-$500 in massages and private salt cave rental so robes not included just felt cheap. the massage itself was rushed and felt unprofessional. for 3 massages, both my mom and I felt this way but my sister said hers was “fine”. my masseuse spent well over a minute just putting his fingers into my ears for some reason. the rest of the massage was just rubbing large oval shapes on my body, like no technique or specialty was used. he also just flung the sheets around, which added to the feeling of “meh” effort. there’s an absurd amount of paperwork and forms you need to fill out and a lot of the info is repeated (name, address, phone, etc). It took my sister and I around 20 min each to finish the forms and we still had to fill out another sheet upon arrival. my mom made a neutral feedback comment that website was confusing because of the forms for payment and the receptionists were kind of snotty about it. To be honest, I will not be returning, sorry. the amount of money we spent just was not close to the level of service provided.
Both my wife and I had a wonderful experience last Friday. We each chose different packages and thoroughly enjoyed them. I especially loved my combination of the salt float, infrared sauna, and 50-minute massage. It left me feeling deeply relaxed, and the massage therapist was outstanding. He helped me tremendously, and I’m already scheduling another appointment for an extended massage session. Thank you for such a great experience!
What a great experience. This is an intimate, boutique spa in the historic district of St. Augustine. The staff are all focused on service and making you comfortable. Three friends went together and we enjoyed our services and our time in the salt cave--very relaxing and unique. Kudos to my massage therapist-Chance. He was very knowledgeable and his techniques were excellent. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. After our experience we topped the day off with lunch around the corner. I will be back!
I had my first ever massage by Chance and it was amazing! Made me feel very comfortable considering it was my very first massage, helped my back and shoulders a lot! it was amazing! I also had a facial by Daiva, what she does is a form of art truly! It was the best facial i’ve ever had! I truly felt like a whole new person! They were both amazing! I will definitely be trying to get in with both of them atleast once a month! The services and providers were amazing and so kind!! Definitely recommend coming here if you need a day of relaxing and healing!!
I booked a couples massage with Chance and Suzanne. The experience itself was phenomenal and the pain relief I felt after my massage with Chance was extraordinary. I was considering going to a doctor for neck, ear, and jaw pain, but it was all released in a single session. We met the owner as well who was kind enough to give us a tour of the salt cave and deprivation tank rooms. We will be back to this spectacular place that is truly a hidden gem in our little town! Thank you Salt Spa!
