First time coming into grab a rainy day pick me up. The barista was so nice and helped me decide on a drink from the menu. Not a long wait for a handcrafted order and looks like there is lots of space to bring a laptop to work or just enjoy meeting up with a group. Ordered: Iced Vaninilla Dirty Chai with Almond Milk. 💛💛💛
Good atmosphere, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. When I made a large (about $80) order for my family, there was one coffee I was unsure if it was sweet or not so I asked at the counter. They told me it was sweet so I ordered it. When I received my order, the coffee wasn’t sweet at all so I didn’t end up liking it. I asked to exchange for something else and was told no I would have to buy something else. Fine, I purchased another cold coffee. When they made the replacement that I just purchased, it came out as a hot coffee instead of what I ordered. At this point I was out of time and had to go. Overall not a great experience.
This is a truly great coffee shop. In my opinion, it is the best coffee shop in Jacksonville, FL .Besides having great coffee, excellent food , an inviting atmosphere, it is also brilliantly managed. I love stopping in whenever I’m in town. Super shout out to the manager, Kyle !! Always applying a personal touch. Thanks.
Love - Love SAGO and the whole community. Literally made a trip to 2 coffee shops just to grab the avocado toast from SAGO. Maybe it was just a bad day… but in the past this avocado toast was chunky and piled high with delicious avocados 🥑 and other delightful ingredients. Disappointed today when my toast had barely any avocado and the amount of red pepper flakes was as thick as the toast. It was barely edible. Super disappointed. If this is the NEW toast then don’t waste your money. It was a Sunday afternoon so I’m sure the day was busy but the inside of the coffee shop had very dirty floors. Couldn’t find a clean spot to sit so we ate in the car. Outside patio area needs some power washing and a quick blower to get rid of the debris. Love the coffee shop. Love the service. Love the thrift store. Loved the apple tart YUM!
Sago Cafe in Jax Beach is a fantastic spot! We stopped by for a quick lunch and were so impressed with the food and atmosphere. I had the chicken salad sandwich—it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. The honey cinnamon latte was also amazing—smooth, lightly sweet, and super comforting. The space is bright and open, with plenty of seating and a clean, minimalist decor that gives it a calm and welcoming vibe. It’s a great place to relax, meet up with friends, or even get some work done. Highly recommend if you’re in the Jacksonville Beach area and looking for good food, great coffee, and a chill atmosphere!
