I don’t usually leave many reviews, but this one needed to be written. After my first visit to RPM Automotive on 210, I got the text asking for a review. I deleted it. While helpful to the business, reviews just aren’t my thing. Then Mike and his team saved the day a second time. First, Mike got four new tires on my car within hours so we could make it to our daughter’s out-of-town game. Same day and was cheaper than BJ's! A couple of weeks later, I picked up a nail in one of those tires just hours before another important appointment. Mike took care of it immediately - and while checking the car, the team found another nail in a different tire I didn’t even know was there. So Mike, you finally got your review. Five stars, without hesitation. Mike, George and the RPM team are knowledgeable, honest, responsive and genuinely kind. This is the kind of local business - and these are the kind of people - that make St. Johns County such a great place to live, work and play. Thank you, RPM, for saving the day. Twice. Five-star team all the way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Service has been fine up until today, gone a couple times. Writing this to help anyone else out with this location in particular: Assumed a tire rotation was the same price as last appointments, and the other locations as well (9.99 across the board) but turns out it's "conditional" here and not the case. Charged $39.99 instead without knowledge of that. They said here it's only an "add on price" of 9.99 if you have other services. it's interesting because every other RPM locations in the area unanimously agreed that 9.99 is the tire rotation price regardless of the appointment, but if you bought tires there it's an even better deal (free, etc). Apparently not the case here - kind of a joke. Most I’ve ever paid (and I’ve been to at least 5-10 different companies) was $20-25. Even at the dealer, I’ve never paid this. They continued to mention that "they are the busiest store" and maybe the other stores just need to drum up business (despite the other stores having more + better reviews). All in all pretty misleading and overall sheisty. I’d probably steer clear of here, and at least people at the other locations seemed to enjoy their jobs and lives more. Not trying to be a dick here but genuinely kind of frustrated and feel a bit conned. I'm open to deleting this if they make it right but otherwise I'll probably avoid in the future.
The guys at RPM on CR 210 were amazing! We were on our way out of town and had an issue that made us have to stop. The guys worked hard and got us back on the road asap. So thankful for their professionalism and helpfulness. Such a great experience.
Wow! Found a screw in my tire and needed a quick repair. They came through big time not only plugged the tire and got me back on the road, they didn't charge me! Who does that? Great service and care for customers. Well done!
William the service writer was awesome. Came in with a tire issue on Sunday of a holiday weekend. The staff here are amazing. Thanks to these guys who were working on the holiday weekend and got me back on the road asap. People undervalue quality auto shop workers too much. These guys here got not only myself but many that day back on the road. I appreciate them all more than they know.
