I normally love coming for silent disco, but the last few times I’ve been I’ve been met by nothing but rude customer service by the bartenders. When ordering a drink you’ll get blatantly ignored and they’ll walk away from you mid order and roll their eyes like you’re doing something wrong by ordering. I understand it gets busy and can be tiring but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone look like they hate working at an establishment so much in my life. My friend tipped under the recommend 30-40% tip (20%, the normal tip percentage) and was met with “you know we work for tips right?”. As someone who works in the service industry I could never imagine treating people like that and if I was as unhappy working there as they seem I would simply just find a new job. Totally kills the vibe of the night.
Wanna have a good time with nice drinks and good music? Rootdown is one of my many favorite spots especially during silent disco on Saturdays. The staff is always on point (give them a pay raise please) and it's always a chill vibe when I go with the crew. Recommended spot oh and go hang out in the back patio....nice spot.
The drinks are a little pricey but it’s absolutely worth it. Compared to any restaurant or bar the drinks were DELICIOUS. The girly pop nation drink was the best thing ive ever had. I definitely will be visiting again.
Love all the drinks that I've had! The bartenders are all nice. This small place has a great ambience, allowing you to relax or just have some down time, along with the lights and music. There is a dance floor and outside seating area to enjoy the fresh, cool air.
Artsy atmosphere with good music. It reminds me of The Swan Dive in Austin, TX. Super cute.. I kind of question why they only have silent disco on the weekends and no bands but it’s a super lowkey spot to get a drink
