We were traveling through town on I-295 and stopped here because of the great reviews. We’re glad we did. Everything was excellent. The only downside was the water, but that’s common with Florida tap water, so I’d recommend ordering a drink. We ordered the queso with beef, corn fritters, birria tacos, and chimichanga. Every dish was delicious and full of flavor. The server was pleasant, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms, which is always appreciated. In Washington, DC or Tampa, this place would likely have a line out the door. We got lucky because there was a rainstorm, so there was no wait. Delicious food, clean facilities, and outstanding service. We would definitely stop here again when passing through the area.
This place has the best birria tacos ever, out of all the places I have been this place is by far the best, they have the best tasting food, the nicest servers, and the owner is always friendly. These tacos taste amazing , the amount of flavor is fabulous, I can never get enough, also with a Mexican dish you get a free chips and salsa which is the best side for any of the food, the salsa has amazing flavor , and to end it off I got their NEW churro cake!! It was the best thing ever, I highly recommend this place. 100% THE BEST PLACE TO GET FOOD!
If you are looking for a real good Mexican food and expected Mexican flavors - you might want to look elsewhere. Were convinced to visit this place due to higher then other Mexican places’ rating on Gmaps. Decided to leave a review on the food quality. Food had unexpected ingredients: fajitas had big chunks of carrots in it and very little protein (chicken), the shredded cheese on tacos was from the bag… Prices for lunch are higher than average.
With 4.7 stars, I was expecting a lot, and it was good just not 5 stars good. The food came out in spurts, even the toppings for my wife’s enchiladas came like 5 minutes later than the rest of the meal. Like I said, the food was good, just not great. I was also expecting it to be busy, but it was pretty dead for a Saturday night.
We came in for lunch and there seemed to be only one server working, but the service was so excellent that we couldn’t tell. The food was great and the price was good. Everything tasted fresh and came out quick. It was our first time dining here and we are adding to our “go to” list.
