Restoration Counseling - Dr. David Moenning

Dr. David has been such a blessing to my marriage. He was recommended to me by a close friend of mine, at a very stressful time in my marriage. I’ve recommended him to my other friends and anyone who has asked me about a counselor. His approach is very organized and structured, he takes notes and follows up about them- all while honestly providing undivided attention, empathy and helpful solutions. My husband was very skeptical of going to counseling- but Dr. Dave made him a believer! He has reframed our communication and our outlook on any challenge we face in marriage- we are SO much stronger and happier now. I could honestly say Dr. Dave has found his true calling and we are beyond grateful for him.

His premarital / marital counseling has helped set my wife and I up for a successful marriage, and his personal counseling helped me as I went through a difficult season of life. What's great about Dr. David is that he's not just some counselor who wants to make you reliant on him to make a profit off of you, as some counselors are known to do. In a time that I was struggling, I went to him for a few sessions and then he let me know that I was good to go without needing any more sessions. Dr. David wants to see you succeed and overcome your issues, not just "learn how to live with them" as many counselors attempt to preach. I advocate for his counseling, because he's a wise man who knows what he's talking about, and genuinely cares for you throughout the whole counseling process. He isn't just some guy who was my wife or I's counselor, but he has now become a friend.

Dr. David is a very compassionate counselor who has specific knowledge to helping those who are in vocationally ministry. It is sometimes hard to find a counselor that has that unique perspective. He has been very helpful to me and my husband both individually and as a couple especially when it comes to the unique struggles that can sometimes come with vocational ministry.

David is an extremely gifted counselor. He has assisted our family with counseling and we continue to use his advice/tips/help whenever we fall back into old habits. We came to David when we thought there was no hope for reconciliation and I was fearful I had waited too long. It’s never too late to make amends! Sometimes you just need help! That’s where David comes in. He is caring, kind and nonjudgmental. I wholeheartedly recommend him to all who seek family restoration and guidance.
