  I would have gladly given this place a five-star review because the massage itself was excellent. Unfortunately, I can't overlook one issue that was never explained to me: **the time I paid for versus the time I actually received.** My appointment was scheduled for 12:15 PM. I arrived in the parking lot around 12:10 PM but had difficulty locating the exact studio. I called the massage therapist for directions and was inside by 12:16 PM. I then completed the required paperwork, which took until approximately 12:25 PM. By the time I was ready and the massage began, it was around 12:30 PM. Now, here's where my concern comes in. I booked and paid for a **90-minute massage**. If the session began at 12:30 PM, it should have ended around 2:00 PM. Even if I give her the benefit of the doubt and assume my 90 minutes started counting from the original appointment time of 12:15 PM, the session should still have ended at 1:45 PM. **Instead, my massage ended at 1:28 PM.** That's 17 minutes short even when counting from my scheduled appointment time, or approximately 32 minutes short if counting from when the massage actually began. What disappointed me most wasn't just the shortened session, but the complete lack of explanation. In my experience with other massage establishments, if a therapist finishes working on certain areas before the session ends, they typically ask whether there are other areas you'd like them to focus on. That way, you still receive the full service you paid for. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here. The session simply ended, without any explanation or acknowledgment that I hadn't received the full 90 minutes. I understand that businesses may have policies regarding appointment times, paperwork, and late arrivals. However, if such a policy affected my session, I believe it should have been clearly communicated. **When a customer pays for 90 minutes, it's reasonable to expect 90 minutes of service, or at the very least, a clear explanation for why that wasn't provided.** Again, the massage itself was great, and I want to give credit where it's due. But the experience left me feeling that I didn't receive the full value of what I paid for. It's disappointing because this could easily have been a five-star experience.
