I understand that they're a tiki bar serving appetizers and bar-style food rather than a full-service restaurant. However, the Spam fried rice we ordered was a huge disappointment. It came in a tiny Chinese takeout-style box—about the size of my 8-year-old daughter's palm—and cost $11, which felt overpriced for such a small portion. It also wasn't authentic Spam fried rice. Instead, it was drenched in what tasted like a heavy soy sauce or teriyaki-style sauce, making it far too salty. Having lived on the islands before, I'm familiar with the traditional style of Spam fried rice and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, this version completely missed the mark. The Kalua pork slider was decent, and the furikake fries were okay, but neither stood out as anything special. The best part of our visit was the atmosphere. The tiki vibe and the live performance were enjoyable and ended up being the highlight of the experience.
We absolutely love Red Lei Lounge. It’s always a fun spot, and Sippin’ Santa this year was next level. We were so happy they hosted it, and they truly killed it. The drinks were amazing (as always), and this was our first time ordering food. We were really impressed with how delicious everything was. They went all out for the event. The Christmas décor was awesome, and they even had Santa there, which made the whole night feel extra festive. This was our fourth time at the bar, and we’re already excited to come back. We seriously can’t wait for Sippin’ Santa 2026. Huge shout out to the owner and the entire staff. Everyone is incredibly hospitable and kind. We always enjoy chatting with the owner, and it really adds to the welcoming vibe of the place.
Summer Luau was so much fun. Buffet was delicious. Service & Entertainment was outstanding. My daughter brought me here for my Bithday. Best gift ever.
We were extremely lucky. They had a large party cancel so it was only us and felt like a vip experience. The staff was lovely and the drinks were delicious and definitely strong. Worth their prices. We had the wings, pork sliders and burger sliders. All delicious but the wings were my favorite. We chatted with the owner and the live singer was great. She mixed traditional Polynesian music with “tikified” other songs. All in all we had a great time and I can’t wait to return with my girlfriends!
The food was excellent, the drinks were just as good, and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. From the moment we arrived, our group genuinely enjoyed the experience. We commented several times throughout the evening about how much we loved the restaurant and how we couldn't wait to come back. We also took plenty of photos because the ambiance made it the perfect place to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, what should have been a great evening was overshadowed by the way we were treated by the owner. We completely understand the importance of keeping a fire exit clear, and we respect that safety policies have to be enforced. However, there is a respectful and professional way to communicate those policies to guests. Instead, we felt the situation was handled with hostility and passive aggression from the start. Rather than calmly addressing the concern, the interaction quickly became confrontational, and we were told that if we didn't want to be there, we could leave. As paying customers celebrating a special occasion—after expressing how much we enjoyed the restaurant—that made us feel unwelcome. It's unfortunate because the food, drinks, and atmosphere are all worth experiencing. I only wish the customer service had matched the quality of everything else. I hope management reflects not only on enforcing policies but also on how those policies are communicated, because a respectful approach would have made all the difference.
