If I could give a negative, I would. This is specifically for the Realty agency and Jessica Jordan, the realtor that I signed with. This has been on my heart since Sept of 2025, when I decided to sell my home in Jacksonville. I was selling due to financial woes and wanting to be close to family out of state. Jessica was great and very nice, she superceded herself and is very smart but I had this experience and I want to share it. This is my side of the story. I was looking at investors and they were not panning out and so I was reading reviews and had reached out to an agency, in hopes I would get guidance and help through the selling process because this was my first time selling and needed help. Jessica explained everything to me and what the process was and which it was helpful. She recommended that I pay the buyers costs, I didn't realize at the time how much that would cost. I do not recommend this for home sellers looking to actually have money leftover because after I received the final paperwork, I paid out 24,000 bucks, yes, 24 grand, folks. I thought Jessica was looking out for me because I have no knowledge of real estate, idk if she thought I had money because of the neighborhood I was in. idk but I felt used. I felt as soon as I signed with a Realtor, I was rushed out of my home. I was told it needed to be cleaned out because the buyers would be able to see the whole house. So, I even rented a storage unit to help and get things moved out. I still felt like that wasn't good enough because I was being told it still needed to be empty for the buyers. I decided to move on Labor day weekend and that I had set up for my friend, the cleaners/packers to come finish what was left, which was a brand new air mattress, medications, shampoo, dishes and some family photos left on the fridge. I had informed my Realtor, Jessica, that my cleaners would be there on Thursday and they would be going thru things. She said ok great but the buyers were coming Tuesday. So, Jessica and her husband took it upon themselves to clean OUT my house for me. I thought at the time, wow thats nice of them but I not only lost family photos but dishes and medications. My friend missed out on some food that was left in my fridge and he was planning on mailing stuff to me. I had to get another friend to go by my house to see what happened. Everything was put to the mailbox, litterbox, litter genie, brand new air mattress, dishes and so on. I was heartbroken, my belongings were out there on the street for everyone to go thru and not only that, it had rained for days, so everything was ruined. I let Jessica know I was upset and that she owes me for a mattress and my medications, so she paid me 125 for that but I lost more than that and after that I lost all respect for my Realtor and the agency. It was the worst experience I ever had. I hope that someone reads this and feels the need to be educated more before getting an agency and Realtor. They are only out for themselves and do not look out for you as the home owner, they see only dollar signs. Update: To the Realty Agency response: Apparently, you didn't read my post. It has nothing to do with the repairs of my home. I was aware of that but you are responsible for the Realtor and she recommended paying for buyers costs. Yall didn't look out for me. It has nothing to do with paperwork but everything to do with representation and looking out for me, the seller. You can holler look at paperwork, that has nothing to do with what happened to me and my belongings. Yall should be ashamed about your response, still no caring. Just what the numbers are. Yall got your money. I still stand by with what I said. I'm glad Jessica isn't working for you, she shouldn't even be a Realtor. Good day!
