Very nice and spacious on the inside. There were about 50 guest seated comfortably and the dance floor was spacious as well. The Lil corner for serving food and the bar area was nice. Very nice place for a private event or just to gather with friends.

This past Saturday we had a graduation/18th birthday party for my son at Premier Event Center on Dunn Ave. Beautiful venue and is black owned, which i loved. While the party did happen, leading up to it was not a good experience at all!! My sister originally rented the venue a year ago, but had to cancel. As a result, they allowed her to reschedule within a year. We scheduled my sons party, after speaking to the owner and advising that I would now be the contact. During the same conversation, we were told that there had been a rate increase, however, they would absorb it by giving us less time. We're we happy about that, no, but we went with it because the goal was not to spend more money. Well 4 days before the party, I call to set up time to make sure the tables are set up the way we want. The owner then tells me that there is a balance on the contract. I'm like what are you talking about?! Then she says, well, I don't have the contract in front of me. We can talk about it when you come to the venue Thursday. To make a long story short, there was a contract, but as a result of a price increase, we would now have to pay additional money, even after a conversation months ago where she said they would absorb it but give us less time. So we ended up having to pay more money as a result of their rate increase even though they were paid in full for a year and already under contract!!! So basically, the contract meant nothing to them, they only wanted the higher cost per hour. Had it not been 2 days before the party, we would have just canceled, but I'm sure she knew we wouldn't because invites had already gone out! What venue has a balance a week before a party and the event still happens??? None of them!!!! The average amount of time is 2 weeks, but 2 days!!!! Like I said earlier, a beautiful venue, but we will never, ever rent it again because they DON'T honor a written agreement!!! I bet had the prices gone down, they wouldn't have given my sister any money back!!! So why make us pay an increase after having a full payment for a year!!! I said all is that to say, business owners do better!!!! I'm not saying the customer is always right, but I am saying, honor your agreements or you will lose business!!! If that's the only venue in town, I would not rent from them EVER AGAIN!!!
Very disappointed with my experience although I’ve heard such great things about this venue. Reached out to Michele twice, spoke on the phone initially, did a virtual visit of the venue and was told I just needed to send her inspiration photos and we can discuss pricing. Waited over two weeks after sending photos to contact her again. Once we finally spoke again she asks me am I the person she was “holding” a specific date for. Then told me she had others wanting that same date. I explained that I was & I was actually ready to proceed with whatever payment necessary. Being that I live in another city, it was difficult to visit in person when she’s only available Thursday's during 6-8pm. She told me she would give me a call back that same night so we could finally go over the prices and etc to lock the date down. She never returned my call. This was on Jan 22nd, it’s now Feb 1st. It was extremely unprofessional, at that point I loss all interest in wanting to do business with her.. At the very least she could have contacted me to let me know she decided to work with someone else who also was interested in that date. Although my first interaction with her was back in Dec.
Premier Event & Rental Center over exceeded my expectations! I had my daughter's Swet 16 Party here and the owners and staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating from the very beginning to the end. The venue is beautiful and clean. The kitchen area was also accommodating for the needs of my caterers with a large warmer for the food and space to prep. I highly recommend this venue for your next special occasion.
Absolutely loved the venue for my wedding. The decorations were perfect and everything flowed smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about anything and everyone had a great time. Food was great as well. I only wish that the planning aspect of my process went a bit smoother, some parts got a frazzled due to my wedding falling on a holiday however, everything turned out great. And I’m beyond pleased
