Such a relaxing experience from start to finish. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, and the entire spa felt peaceful. Everything was incredibly clean, with a soft, fresh scent that wasn’t overpowering at all. The locker room was spacious and had thoughtful little touches like hair ties, lotions, and sprays that made it feel extra special. My massage therapist, JOE, was fantastic! Joe checked in beforehand to ask if there were areas I’d like him to focus on, and throughout the treatment it was obvious he really knew what he was doing. The pressure was never too much or too little. It felt like he knew exactly when to be gentle and when to work a little deeper. I felt completely comfortable the whole time. I loved the dry brushing, the warm body butter, and walking into a heated massage bed was such a nice treat. Honestly, I couldn’t believe the treatment was less than an hour. It felt so much longer in the best way because nothing felt rushed, and they fit so much into that time. (This was for the Detox & Renew Body Treatment, highly recommend!) It was such a wonderful experience, and for such an affordable price. I left feeling so relaxed. I’ll definitely be back!
I look forward to visiting Poseidon Spa in St. Augustine every year for my birthday—it has truly become a special tradition for me. Every experience I’ve had there has been exceptional. The massage therapists are absolutely amazing—professional, attentive, and incredibly skilled. I’ve also gone with friends who have enjoyed facials and manicures, and they’ve all said the same—the service and attention to detail are outstanding. What really makes Poseidon Spa stand out for me is the ability to spend the entire day there. After my treatment, I love relaxing by the pool and ordering lunch—it turns the visit into a full, luxurious experience rather than just a quick appointment. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, be pampered, and truly enjoy a spa day in St. Augustine, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough!
The spa is small but lovely. Nestled in the Casa Monica complex, but once you step inside you are immediately at ease in a relaxing environment. I had a facial along with the add on of foot exfoliation. CaryAnn was the provider for me today and she alone gets 5 stars! She was incredible, Quiet, gentle, firm, thorough. Honestly, I've had many facials over the years, but this one I received today with CaryAnn was special. The front office staff were also very kind and accommodating. Again, a small spa, but not small on service or treatments!
My husband and I celebrated his birthday with 80 minute facials followed with 80 minutes of massages. We were so relaxed and loved all the pampering. The staff were all super friendly and great at their craft. The spa offers a ton of great products and many you can try out in the locker rooms. Great place for a special day or even stopping in for gifts or products. We will be back!
Go here! My husband & I were in St. Augustine over Labor Day weekend & I was in desperate need of relaxation after a really stressful trip. Walked into Poseidon Spa (in the historic district) for a pedicure without an appointment & they were able to accommodate within the hour! The spa was so beautiful! Large, antique storefront windows & tall ceilings. I felt right at home from the beginning. Angela gave me one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. She took the time to remove a pesky/painful ingrown toenail & did a wonderful polish application! She was comforting to talk to (sweet, Southern accent & all), and even fixed my polish after failing the “is it dry yet” test. 😅 I added the hot stones & they were heavenly! Angela even gave me & my husband a complimentary glass of champagne 🥂. The level of customer service here was A+ from start to finish. Thanks so much for giving me an hour of peace after an incredibly difficult week, Angela & Casey.
