My wife and I had a great time visiting! Of course, we had to stop by the famous Fountain of Youth and drink some of the water—here’s hoping it works! If you’re a fan of peacocks, you’ll love this place because they’re everywhere. We also enjoyed learning about the area’s Native American tribes and the fascinating history behind the site. It’s a beautiful place to explore, and we definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful time exploring at youth archaeological Park. Learning how the blacksmith would help run the city, creating much-needed utensils for cooking and for building. Watching the canning go off and hearing about the cannons that were on the boats and those brought over on the chalupas was very educational. There's also a dig section for kids to find buried treasures. This is a wonderful place to bring your family and friends. Not to mention the beautiful peacocks parade around land as your experiencing all of these historical moments as they're told. Thank you to everyone of the staff members from the ticket holders to the station attendance who shared their wonderful knowledge. You made a difference in this visit and I will be back with more family.
Can buy a little discounted ticket at Trolly stop main location at old town. Really very nice park. The water is not bad, drank some. Fair priced gift shop. Everyone very friendly. Peacocks are pretty tame, you can walk past them, they are looking for food.
This was a nice short historical tour through time, along with the fun of drinking from "the fountain of youth". The site is kid and pretty friendly and great if you want to see a bit of history. You can stay for an hour, or all day depending on your schedule.
Visiting the Ponce de Leon Fountain of Youth in St. Augustine was such a cool throwback to history with a little sprinkle of magic. The grounds are beautiful, full of peacocks strutting around like they own the place, and the exhibits make you feel like you stepped right into the 1500s. Of course, we couldn’t leave without sipping the famous “Fountain of Youth” water—did it take a few years off me? I’m convinced it did! 😆 Between the scenic views, the planetarium show, and the fun demonstrations, it’s one of those places where you learn a ton without even realizing it because you’re having such a good time. Definitely a must-stop spot if you're wandering around St. Augustine!
