Pizzaro Italian Cuisine

I've been here twice and LOVE absolutely LOVE their Chicago style pizza, being from Chicago. Enjoyed it both times with my roommate, in house, not to go. He ordered it Saturday 7/18, to go, with another friend. Unfortunately he didn't check the box before he left the restaurant and brought some home to me. This is what I found when I went to heat it up, very disappointed. He's not me or I would have complained especially because it was his friend's first experience there. If he'd have known, he would've waited an extra 30 min for another pie. I was so excited for the leftovers and when I opened the package just now, I asked if they had already reheated it. He said no, that's how it came. I've never had a bad experience there, but this? How do you send a pizza out like that? I threw the leftovers in the garbage and they felt it was a waste of money. Sorry to give a bad review but I'll make sure I eat in from now on, or check my box... But the in house experience is pleasurable!

Came in hungry and left stuffed. My wife and I ordered the spaghetti with the monster meatball, a cheese pizza slice with bacon, a cheese pizza slice with anchovies, and a Philly cheesesteak. And we still had leftovers. We couldn’t even finish everything and we can definitely eat. Great food, huge portions, and great service too.

Calamari was perfect coating not too salty! Garlic cheese bread was crispy and soft! Both sauces pair amazing with it! The pies were crispy and soft crust perfect amount of dough, the seasoning had a great balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings! Baklava to top it off was a must have! It was soft and creamy tasted like chocolate cereal, wasn't too heavy!

We checked out Pizzaro on their opening day and WOW, what a great first impression! I got The Smoke Show and my friend ordered the Ricotto Special. As you can probably tell from the photo, both pizzas were loaded with toppings. The Smoke Show was incredible, the mix of pineapple, BBQ sauce, and smoked Gouda was such a perfect combo. The Ricotto Special was also super filling and packed with flavor. For dessert, we tried the Tres Leches, which was lighter than your usual version, and the sauce on top was rich and creamy. You could really tell it was homemade, so fresh and delicious. I’ll definitely be getting it again next time. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. It didn’t feel like a typical pizza spot, more like a neighborhood place where everyone knows you. The chef even stopped by our table to check on us, which really showed how much they care about what they do. I really hope they keep up the same vibe. Highly recommend!
