I was very happy with my unscheduled visit. I needed my prescription filled that I had forgotten about and was seen an hour after calling. I had a wedding to attend in 2 days and was very happy to be seen on such short notice. Definitely a 5 star visit!
Hi, I would love to have given them a 5 star review, but unfortunately I came into the office and stumbled upon a horrible altercation between a patient who had come a long distance and had her appointment cancelled, without being told ahead of time. There were other providers there, but they were told that they would have to see the doctor, who apparently was out sick (not his fault, obviously). She and her husband were both very distraught and the receptionist was extremely rude, unhelpful and uncaring. After they made another appointment for several weeks later, they left, and she rolled her eyes at me, as it they had been in the wrong. At which point I mentioned that the exact same thing happened to me the previous month, and that they hadn't called me to cancel my appointment either, so I could understand why they were upset. In a normal tone of voice. Her response was that they always call and it's not THIER PROBLEM if our phones AIN'T RIGHT. I was astonished by her nasty attitude towards me! They said they hadn't called me because they didn't know my number, and when I asked them what they had, they gave some number which was totally unrelated to me. This was bizarre, because I have been with them for almost ten years! There's never been a problem before. They are trying to establish a new practice here, and this is only the third time I've been to this office, I had been going to Mandarin before, where the front staff are lovely. But I live in Green Cove Springs so it's a long drive so I was very happy that they had opened up this one at that my doctor would be there! If they keep this woman there, I very much doubt that it will be a successful venture though, not with this lady, who so very clearly and openly does not give a flying fig at a rolling donut about the patients. After my mishap last month, I had to call to check up on a prescription, and after sending two messages via text, a leaving another with their switchboard, checking with my pharmacy first as requested, I was told that they had my number in the system wrong AGAIN, even though I had corrected on the phone with the gentleman in their call center on the previous week. Then the same lady from today when called, to follow up, when we didn't hear back for several days, told my husband that if I couldn't get my medication, which I had already been out of for days because of the cancellation of my appointment, was too bad because there were other patients waiting too, and it was not her problem because she couldn't do anything. At this point, even though I loved the doctors, Medical Assistants and Font Office Staff in Brandon and Mandarin, and I like Alda Cilingiri, she is very sweet, even though I haven't known her for very long. I am not so attached, that if I have to continue to see this woman glowering at me every time I enter the office, I don't know if I should continue to go there 🤷♀️ I'm sorry to say
Absolute trash. They have cancelled or rescheduled appointments without calling or notifying anyone. Then they lie about it and tell me they tried to call but didn’t leave any voicemails. I’ll never go back and I’ll never let them touch me. Their scheduling staff sucks.
I do not recommend this office unless you want to be given the run around have your money taken and not provided care. I was sent here for pain management after having 3 back surgeries and needing a 4th. After several months of trying to secure an appointment due to referral hold-ups, my first appointment was cancelled within the hour appointment time due to the Dr being out sick. Rescheduled for several weeks later, show up at the appt spend an hour with the Dr going over history of injuries which are all military related while in service, history of surgeries and all other medical history. I was then told he could help once I bring him the images of past MRIs and CTs, so get a copy of those and come back and see him. I went to the front desk to make a follow up appointment only for the lady at the front desk to get an attitude because I told her she gave me a wrong appointment, she tried to make an appointment for Friday Jan 16th, mind you I was standing in front of her on Monday Jan 19th. I showed up for appointment scheduled Feb 16th with images in hand, never once told I would not be seeing the original Dr. Took my copay no problem and told to wait. After being escorted back to exam room and waiting 45min I was greeted by the nurse practitioner who acted like it was my first 1st wanting me to review everything and explain everything again, this was the first time I was told the original Dr was out. I was not going to explain everything again when it is all in my chart. When I left I asked for a refund of copay only to be told that was payment for walking in the building. I feel they hid the fact the Dr was out and did not consider my care in letting me make the decision if I wanted to reschedule when he returned or see the NP. The front desk lady always seems to be aggravated and bothered that you are there, to the point in front of us she was on a phone call held the receiver down and let out an aggravated sigh. If she is doing that while you are on the phone what is she doing when you leave the office. Stay away from this office unless you want lack of communication and no proper care.
Spoke with my third doctor Dr Edie I wonder why they can't keep any doctors. Dr Edie has spoke to me for total of 8 to 12 minutes since December. He has come to the conclusion. I need a procedure done on my back. But he cannot speak with me or talk to me but that's what he's come up with. I miss Dr. Warhust. Eddy, cut my meds. I told Tracy and the other staff members don't make me any appointments on Monday . But for Tuesday and Wednesday because the weekend I drink beer and I don't mix my medicine. He tells me I did not have enough of it in my system. I scheduled my appointments to be the first one in and out. I've waited an hour for him to come in there and then he spends 2 minutes with me. And you think I'm going to let him put a knife on my back.
