my appointment was at 10:00 a.m this morning i was there 5 minutes earlier when i walk through the door a man approach me And asked me who I was and I told him I said I have my appointment at 10:00 a psych evaluation. then he tells me to hold on, comes back out and tells me my appointment has been canceled. he was very rude when I asked him if I could get a copy saying it was canceled. he told me no. for people that are going to see him he is not professional. he treats people like crap and his bedside manner is not very well. I don't know where he got to his degree from but he is not good in his profession. people can need help. I need help. + he definitely does not know how to treat someone with bipolar disorder schizophrenic anxiety list goes on and on. he's in the wrong field. he does not know how to treat people so please do not go to him. he does not know what he's doing And one more thing, what zero stars if I could?
If I can give him no stars I would. This man was so rude and my daughter has a medical condition and they sent me to him for mental status and he tells me that everything is in my daughter’s head. He was prejudice and he asked about my personal life and it didn’t have nothing to do with my daughter. I felt like that was very unprofessional asking my daughter how many people I have been with in front of me he was very inappropriate very obnoxious and I will give him zero stars and everybody who is doing SSI for their kids please read all the reviews. because Social Security will send you here to him knowingly they know that he’s gonna deny every application, especially if they’re African-American. Not all black people want just a check but anything helps when u have to dish out a lot of money for medical bills and high prescription medication that even discount cards want cover smh .
The experience I had with Peter Knox was very arrogant, and rude this individual. He shouldn’t be doing evaluations for CHILDREN less on anyone much ESPECIALLY those in need of disability or evaluations 0/10 Wouldn’t recommend at all You have been warned just look at his Reviews and the ones with positive more than likely People he know… Knox LOOK STRAIGHT IN MY EYES AND STATED MY CHILD WAS ACTING THIS IS ALL A ACT AND SHES DOING THIS ON PURPOSE AND IM DONE HERE!! Oh really!! I was SHOCKED and it’s not so much what he said it’s how he said it! He comes off as being extremely unruly Impolite and Offensive He provided testing for my Child under 10yr old And while he was asking her questions he stop her numerous of times and forcing to correct her as if she supposed to knew what was going on!! She was Shaking and nervous My daughter was frightened and confused that a grown MAN was Raising his voice and forcing her to do something she couldn’t Baffle and didn’t understand!! imagine that, My daughter left crying and stated I hate him I told her that wasn’t nice but again you have to treat others how you like to be treated. And that was literally a 10min appt so I could only imagine The people has to deal with him daily!! Very unprofessional and insensitive. I would definitely explore other options before settling on Knox. And knox you have the day you give to others ALWAYS…
Dr. Knox has seen my son 10 yrs ago and within the last month and has provided excellent evaluations for his autistic spectrum. He is very attentive and thorough in he diagnostic process. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Knox for your psychological assessments and counseling needs.
My son is Autistic and not very sociable. Dr. Knox is so kind and understanding. He really takes the time to get to know his patients and the parents. He sees his patients and my son was not invisible to him, he listens to understand and knows his stuff
