Perfect Rack Billiards

First time in today on Wing Wednesday. I was excited. I got there and ordered 30 wings, a side of fries, and 2 drinks. I totally expected to wait a little bit since they were busy, but I didn't expect to wait over an hour. So, my girlfriend went up to the bar the first time and asked the bartender, "Hey, we ordered some food and have been waiting a very long time. Can you give us an update?" The bartender walks back to the kitchen and says, "We're really busy on Wednesdays, but the ticket is back there and your order is being made so you just have to wait." Another 15 minutes go by. I walk up and ask another bartender to go ahead and cancel my order if the wings haven't been made. She checks my order, then says, "They haven't been made because no one sent the ticket back." LOL, wow. I get you're busy, but it's just a push of a button. Could have been a really great customer, but that got ruined pretty fast.

If you’re anywhere near Murray Hill in Jacksonville and you love great wings, you absolutely have to check out Perfect Rack Billiards. I’ve been coming here for a while now, and it easily became my go-to #1 spot whenever I’m craving wings and a relaxed atmosphere. Every single time I visit, I order the same thing: the 10-piece wings extra grilled and re-tossed in a mix of Cajun Hot and PRB. If you know, you know. The extra grill gives the wings that perfect texture—slightly crisp on the outside while still juicy inside—and the sauce combination is unreal! I’ve tried wings all over Jacksonville, and honestly, these are the best in the city. The drinks are another huge win here. The beer is always phenomenally cold, exactly how it should be when you’re sitting down to wings and hanging out with friends. On top of that, the drink prices are incredibly reasonable, which makes it easy to settle in, relax, and enjoy your time without feeling like you’re getting gouged. What really sets Perfect Rack apart, though, is the environment. The vibe inside is exactly what a neighborhood spot should be—laid back, welcoming, and full of character. Whether you’re shooting pool, watching a game, or just grabbing food and drinks with friends, the place has an energy that makes you want to stay awhile. In my opinion, this is hands down one of the best hangouts in Murray Hill. Great wings, cold beer, solid prices, and an unbeatable neighborhood atmosphere. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and GO!. Chances are you’ll end up becoming a regular like me.

I always come for the wings and they never disappoint. My whole family was there for a little pool and a little late lunch early dinner. The staff is always nice and the food is always cooked proper. The atmosphere was very friendly and the family friendly since we brought a nephew that was only 16.
