Pepper’s is wonderful. They hosted our neighborhood dinner club of more than 70 people across two seatings. Everyone commented on the wonderful service and food as they left. It’s lively with background music, and outside bar that early arrivals hung out till their seating. We there on Taco Tuesday and the taco specials were vey tasty.
Kinda pissed me off when I saw a charge on the bill for $1.50 for a small condiment cup of some hot sauce. You can’t be that hard up for $1.50. You gave our table to bowls of chips and salsa and when we got to go boxes you put another chips and salsa in the bag to go as well free? But the little condiment cup of hot sauce is $1.50??? Do better this was my first time here. And not the $1.50 is not the problem, the problem is your petty.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute Perfection! I absolutely loved the vibe sitting outside-the atmosphere is just amazing. But let me tell you about the best thing on the menu: the California Burrito. Seriously, listen to me, I am a huge fan of Mexican food and have tried so many different versions of this dish everywhere. This one is, hands down, the best I have ever had in my life! Highly recommended! 10/10.
My latest takeout experience at Pepper’s Cocina Mexicana & Tequila Bar was the final straw. After a history of mounting issues, this visit was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I called in a simple takeout order of just two items—a Taco Salad and a Chicken Fajita—and was told it would take 20 minutes. I arrived 22 minutes later and went inside to pick it up, expecting it to be ready. Instead, the staff member at the host stand treated me like an inconvenience, barely acknowledging me before taking my payment. It became glaringly obvious that she hadn't even entered the order into the kitchen until AFTER I paid at the front stand. As a result, I was forced to sit there waiting for an additional 30 minutes inside the restaurant just to get two standard menu items—a total wait of over 50 minutes for a quick call-ahead order. Forcing customers to wait half an hour in-person post-payment because of sheer negligence is complete incompetence and shows zero respect for people's time. Consider this my last dollar spent here—save your time and go anywhere else.
Excellent mexican food just like California. Table prepared guacamole camaron nachos and steak fajitas.
