Fresh Mex & Co. is such a great addition to St. Johns! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the bright, welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff. Ordering was easy with either the QR code at your table or at the register, and our food came out quickly. The restaurant has comfortable bar seating, a spacious outdoor patio, and a relaxed, family-friendly vibe that’s perfect for lunch or dinner. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We tried the California Style Steak Burrito with guacamole, the Barbacoa Taco, the L.I.F.E. Bowls with Blackened Shrimp and Blackened Mahi, the Loaded Nacho Fries, and finished with the Churros served with chocolate. Every dish was fresh, generously portioned, and made with quality ingredients. The L.I.F.E. Bowls were especially delicious if you’re looking for a healthier option without sacrificing flavor, and the churros were the perfect sweet ending. If you’re looking for fresh Mexican-inspired food, excellent service, and a casual spot that’s great for families and friends, Fresh Mex & Co. is definitely worth a visit. Eat good. Feel good. This was my first time visiting Feah-Mex and Co., and I will definitely be back! I had the shrimp nachos with avocado, and they were excellent — fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. Noah was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and a great first impression. They did an awesome job!
The waiters/waitresses are always to see us and happy to help. It seems like they all enjoy their jobs (I think that speaks for the establishment itself). It’s always clean and the food is DELICIOUS. We just moved to Florida from the West Coast and miss our Mexican food dearly. This place is like the perfect mix between TexMex but still very authentic with their spices, tortillas, and birria. This place satisfies my birria craving 1000%. It is slightly Americanized but it’s a great American-Mexican fusion especially in a place where good Mexican food is hard to come by. Be prepared to order from a QR code menu from your table of choice or order at the front with the host/hostess. On I think Monday or a Tuesday night they do trivia so bring a team it’s rather fun! I love the ability to do either, it’s a different spin on serving/tending. 10/10 Would recommend this place. We order the queso fundido with chorizo. One carne asada taco , one ribeye; Birriadilla with consume; one of their delicious bowls they have so Many options and Are great left over.
Super clean and very nice staff. The food was really good. The salsa was great it reminded me of a shrimp cocktail salsa without the shrimp not spicy but good flavor. The chimichanga was great and a big portion the rice with it was just plain white rice..it is what it is. The birria-dills (birria quesadillas) was so so good definitely recommend.
First time was a wonderful experience! Staff was so friendly and atmosphere was ambient and beautiful. I ordered a life bowl and the portion sizes were super generous, and their cilantro lime sauce was a star! Food came out quickly as well. So happy with the experience, this restaurant is definitely a gem!
