Honestly, I am a very picky person when it comes to Mexican food. And I genuinely can eat here everyday. The food is very authentic and flavorful. You can tell a lot of time and effort goes in every product. I am also not a big drinker but the margarita are absolutely delicious! This is a must try either for date night or with friends !
This is a must-visit... fresh, homemade, authentic Mexican food... amazing drinks and desserts... Did I mention that they make their own tequila? Peppers!
Best Mexican food I have had in St. Augustine. We have been waiting for this restaurant to open and the food did not disappoint. Had the chimichangas, one chicken and one beef, and they were full of flavor. My friend had the seafood chimichangas and loved them. The portions were generous and our server, Jay, was very attentive. Will definitely add this new restaurant to my favorites list!
Not only was the food amazing but the service was out of this world! Great energy, awesome throwback jams to groove to! The energy is unmatched forreal. Come to Peppers for the best mexican cuisine and good vibes! ✨
I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant in town. I own a museum next door to Peppers and have watched the work they put into this building and I must say they nailed it. A beautiful modern interior with plenty of light, not too loud, Super Clean - oh and DELICIOUS food. I sat at the inside bar - normally I would sit outside but it’s June and it’s Florida. There were a few others seated at the bar and Matt the magnificent bartender made sure everyone’s needs were met and expectations were exceeded. I was torn between the Alambre Fajitas and another choice and Matt was very excited about the Fajitas so I went that route. They were served seaming hot with Steak, bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, mozzarella, Maggi, Worcestershire sauce, sour cream, fresh guacamole and some other diced veggies. The portion was big enough to share, but as luck may have it I was dining solo and powered through to clean the plate! Then walked home and went right to bed 🛌
