This is Indian grocery & food store. It's a franchise and you will find in many big cities of many states in USA. It's a very popular store. They keep almost every required India items from vegetables to frozen food, variety of snacks, pickles, spices, cookies, fruits, sweets, namikns and so many Indian stuff for day to day requirements. We visit generally every week for groceries. This time we took some pictures and videos so people know what it looks like. Their staff is very cool & helpful. They help if you have a question or you are looking for some items, they help. They have handicapped, wheelchair entrance & I posted that picture too. And lots of parking available.
Great place. I come here in the summer for mangoes. Very kind staff.
I really like this grocery store! It feels like I am in India. I come here for frozen food and tea; masala tea is my favorite! You can find so much food from India.
Patel Brothers is a fantastic store. It is very clean, spacious, and well-organized. The quality is immediately noticeable when you walk in. The groceries are in excellent condition. Produce looks fresh and vibrant, though I have not purchased any yet. The spices stood out to me! The seeds/buds looks uniform in size, like they were chosen with care. The frozen food section is impressive. Most of the options are vegetarian, which is perfect for me. There are also some mild spice levels available. I am sensitive to spice, so often cook Indian food at home. The sweets are great. I love the natural treats made from simple ingredients like nuts, seeds, sesame, and peanuts. The bread selection is excellent. I especially loved the naan, which comes frozen in a 16-piece pack divided into four smaller packs. This helps keep it fresh longer. I enjoy warming the naan on a cast iron pan with a cast iron lid because it makes it taste like it just came out of the oven. It is wonderful, and I like eating it with avocado mash on top. The roti was great as well! I am definitely looking forward to trying more items from this store. I will absolutely shop here again.
We are lucky to have Patel Brothers in Jacksonville, in the past when I traveled for my career, I would drive 2hrs and had no family nearby as some items are not available in stores when needed or are not fresh online. It is always clean and organized, spacious and well lite, appreciate the variety and rare Indian products or brands in stock. I buy bulk organic spices that are much cheaper anywhere else. The yogurts also taste homemade and very hard to make own cultures. There’s also the option of fresh rotis and know some that come here just for the imported veggies. I myself have a language barrier and understand and note some are Spanish speaking only. My only recommendations to the company in general is to support Indian products, there are many from neighboring or western side with no regulations.
