Ms. Gwen at Park Avenue Tailor is absolutely exceptional! Her attention to detail and craftsmanship are second to none. She took the time to understand exactly what I needed and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. Not only is her work top-quality, but she is also kind, professional, and truly cares about her customers. My garments fit perfectly, and you can tell she takes great pride in what she does. If you’re looking for reliable, high-quality tailoring, Ms. Gwen is the one to trust. I will definitely be returning for future alterations!
I got my pants hemmed at the expedited rate which was pretty decently priced and the tailor even got them done a day early.
They did my graduation dress alteration on such short notice with more than impressive speed. They are very kind and hardworking.
Over priced! I took my slacks to have them hemmed March 24th for $12 to pickup Thursday; I took another pair of slacks approximately 9:30am and was told it’ll be $20 to pick up Thursday also. They said it’s because of expedite service. I informed her what the world small businesses are doing to the consumers,(increasing their prices). At this point she gave me the same slacks that she said wasn’t ready til Thursday as I asked her to put exchange p/u days to prioritize the ones I dropped off today. She gave me the slacks from yesterday which was completed and didn’t service the slacks I dropped off today telling me she’s not going to hem because of what I said. She lied to me saying the 1st pair wouldn’t be ready for p/u and they were already done from yesterday’s drop-off. Also charges $50 to make vest smaller and $50 to shorten each sleeve on a long-sleeve shirt. Do go here unless you want to overpay. I’m also a disabled veteran which I asked about a military discount because on this website it shows a photo of military jacket and saying we honor veterans. My wife told me I should go to this place; I’m informing her not to go back and to tell her friends, my friends and my family members to avoid this place like the PLAGUE! I went down the street to Famous Mary’s with my slacks soon after; Mary only charged $15 and they are ready for p/u the next day! Famous Mary has GREAT customer service too!
An employee at another cleaners recommended Park Avenue Tailor. So happy she did. I needed to have alterations done to my linen vest and they did an outstanding job. The cost was a little steep but well worth it. I would recommend them to anyone.
