I play Palm Valley 9-Hole Golf Course often and absolutely love it! It’s an affordable, laid-back course with a friendly and super helpful staff, making it a great place to enjoy a round without feeling intimidated. As a newer golfer, I especially appreciate how beginner-friendly the course is. I also regularly play here with more experienced golfers, and we all have a great time. I’ve been able to see consistent improvements in my game, and the course is a great place to practice and build confidence. The range is another big plus with affordable large or small buckets of balls, and the Toptracer technology is accurate and makes practicing much more productive and fun. I’ve also taken one-on-one lessons with Kimberly, and she is amazing! She can spot exactly what I need to tweak in my swing and gives me helpful guidance that has made a noticeable difference in my game after each lesson. I can’t wait to see the new training facility opening soon and love seeing the improvements being made to the course consistently. I also appreciate that they offer fun events throughout the year. I really enjoyed the women’s clinic I attended in May, and I’m looking forward to the upcoming couples scrambles in September and October! Overall, Palm Valley is a great course for golfers of all experience levels. It’s affordable, relaxed, welcoming, and a place where I genuinely have fun while improving my game. I’m excited to keep coming back and seeing what’s next!
Today was my first time playing at Palm Valley park 3 course. I had a terrific time! The atmosphere is about as relaxed as you can get. The 9 holes walking took me 90 minutes. I enjoyed walking the course. I want to walk more courses in the future. The fairways and greens are in decent shape. The fairways are very narrow, but I accepted the challenge! The greens are slower, but aligned well to my 9 stimp putting mat. However, the tee boxes are very poor which is why I had to lower my rating. With all that said, the price per round is very affordable. This is a gem for new golfers!
My brothers and I went and played this course for the first time in probably 3 years and the course condition was MUCH improved since we last went. The course isn’t perfect and still had some flaws but the management is keeping up and doing good work to help. David is very down to earth and a nice guy! All of his staff were friendly and greeted us with smiles and respect. A good price point for a round of 9 or even 18 holes. This course provides a nice challenge to beginner golfers or anyone looking to improve on their mid irons and short game!
Lucky enough to live right around the corner from here. It's great for a quick 9 before or after work and maybe the best value in town ($16 for 9 holes, plus discounts for seniors, juniors etc). Family-owned, the owner and staff are super friendly and it's a great casual atmosphere and very family friendly. My 11 year old is learning the game and loves playing here and I don't feel any stress or pressure having a new player out on the course like I might at some of the other courses in town. My parents (in their 70s) who just picked up golf in the last few years play here a couple times a week when they are in town visiting. One of only 2 executive/par 3 courses I know of in town and a better layout and conditions than the other. The owner has put a ton of work into the course over the last few years and it shows. The greens, while rough in some spots have greatly improved (recent overseed helped a lot). On top of the course being a fun layout they have one of the few publicly accessible grass driving ranges around as well as a bunch of Top Tracer bays(Top Golf but outside). and the range is lighted so they are open late. The only other Top Tracer range nearby has recently gone private so having one available here is a bonus.
The Golf Director /Golf Pro, Kimberly Lawlor , does an amazing job teaching golf and analyzing your swing problems in real time , all while being coached. Kimberly Lawlor is a great asset to improve your golf game, I personally have been able to improve my golf game beyond my expectations , due to in large part the great golf coaching from Kimberly . The course is great to work on your short game , the top tracer is covered from the weather and has excellent golf hitting mats that have a realistic feel . The lessons are totally worth it , completely turned my game around. Being able to play golf and realize my dream of being able to play with colleagues and friends and family was made possible due to the excellent personalized coaching from Golf Pro and Director of operations , Kimberly Lawlor. If you want to change your game , I would schedule a lesson asap . Good luck to all the golfers and have fun !
