OTR flatbed/step deck driver. My DM set me up for a 2:30pm appointment. Had to travel 3 hrs to get there. Arrived at 2:45pm. Upon arrival there's others driver's alongside both sidewalks so I'm in a line of 30 truckers. Sat in line so long they closed at 4pm and I had to spend the night on the side of the road only to wake up to another long line of truckers waiting to get checked in and loaded. Lost a day and my delivery from Jacksonville Florida to Conley GA is a day late probably 2 depending on if I can get loaded up. By far the worst place I've ever had to pick up from. I mostly blame my DM for scheduling a late pickup so far away from where I previously delivered to.

When you arrive to load, go to the office and check in. Nobody tells you how to do it the first time you go. You see the line of trucks, you follow it, and when it's your turn to load, they tell you the office is already closed, and you lose the day.
Hopper check in procedure is to check in at shipping office in front of building, then raw material unloader will call you when ready for your product. Inter-plant communication will help this process work. They tried this before without success. Friendly people at least. In the not-so-good list; signing a piece of paper acknowledging that you drop slow enough to not cause there belt/mechanisms to back up or break is silly. They mays well just have the unloader do the unloading imo.
Good Place to Deliver
Too many trucks not worth waiting for a load. Passed on loads 2 times due to wait times
