So good! The tacos are delicious and very affordable. I tried the hamburger taco and the St. Augustine taco with shrimp, and both were absolutely amazing. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying the nice weather and relaxing while you eat. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d recommend! Thank you!
Osprey Tacos has quickly become a staple when I visit St. Augustine. I typically get one of their bowls, always trying to change up my order to try something new. Expect to sit outside at covered communal picnic tables, but be warned it gets super crowded quickly, so plan ahead. The staff are all super nice and every dish is super yummy. There's a partnership with the bar next door, so you'll see that many patrons grab a drink next door to accompany their meal. There's a retro pinball museum/arcade about a 2 minute walk away if you're looking to make a day out of your trip to this side of the Bridge of Lions. Can't wait to visit again!
Overrated tourist taco spot. The tacos photograph way better than they taste. They overload them with toppings to distract from the fact that the meat itself is bland and mediocre. The carnitas tasted old and reheated — genuinely bad enough that I spit it out. The pollo asada was edible, but nothing special whatsoever, especially for over $4-5 per taco. Especially with no affordable taco trio/combo option. Long wait, overpriced, uncomfortable outdoor seating, and very underwhelming food. I honestly think people who rave about this place either haven’t had authentic tacos or are rating the aesthetic instead of the flavor. Save your money and find a smaller local Mexican spot instead!!
The food was magnificent. It’s a very small place and has an outdoor seating area. Don’t go here looking for a fine dining experience. It’s got an old school feel to it, counter ordering, outdoor picnic style shared seating. It also is connected to a brewhouse where you can have a great beer 🍺 while waiting or with your meal. The Cuban taco was incredible and makes me thankful a few recipes made it the 90miles into the US.
Great taco stand that has a pretty solid selection of tacos. I'm a big street taco guy and Osprey delivered on that front. They also have bowls and other selections as well. Best part is Old Coast Ales that is right next door. You can get your tacos and then have a beer right next door.
