OP Fish house was outstanding. My wife had the oysters rockerfeller and a whole fried flounder. It was flavorful, hot and delicious. The fish was so big it covered the whole plate and our server had to bring our sides on a separate plate. The service was great and the ambiance felt like eating at your mom's house. Parking is in the back and if you drive too fast, you will breeze right by it. If you like seafood, this is your place. We will be back.

WOW! I have never had a Lobster Roll this good before. Its HUGE & Yummy! Its worth every penny you pay for it. My mom had the Shrimp Pasta. It was very rich but VERY delicious. Great meal all the way around. I'll be back for you lobster roll!
Orange Park Fish House & Oyster Bar is a hidden gem on Kingsley Avenue in Orange Park. You can enjoy a great meal any day of the week, and their weekly specials are definitely worth checking out. I stopped in on Monday for the oyster special, which was $15 with the purchase of an appetizer. I chose the smoked fish dip, and it was excellent. There was plenty left over to take home and enjoy the next day. After that, you can order as many oysters as you like—you’ll definitely leave full. The oysters are shucked fresh and served at no additional charge. The building is older and could use some updating, and some of the dining areas are a bit small. If you’re dining with a large party, be sure to request a bigger table so you have plenty of room. The bar is also always a nice place to sit. The staff is friendly, helpful, and takes great care of you.
The restaurant exhibits a massive split in service quality depending entirely on where a customer sits. The bar staff represents the highlight of the establishment. The female bartenders maintain an excellent, high-energy vibe and consistently show wonderful attitudes. They drive a great atmosphere. Conversely, floor service remains highly inconsistent. A specific blonde waitress demonstrated distinct rudeness on at least two separate occasions. This floor staff behavior directly conflicts with the excellent standard set by the bar team. Kitchen execution falls short when handling specific customer requests for temperature modifications. When patrons request oysters cooked well, the kitchen fails to meet this specification. Guests must accept the standard preparation regardless of their stated preference. Despite this limitation, the food quality meets the baseline standard necessary to maintain steady repeat business. The restaurant operates within a small physical footprint, featuring a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The Wednesday oyster happy hour generates peak demand, causing the dining room to fill rapidly. This high volume creates significant wait times for walk-ins. Successful capacity management relies heavily on advance bookings or early arrival.
Fantastic place! I asked my server for recommendations and she nailed every one! From the brown ale and Brussels sprouts appetizer to the blackened scallops, everything was excellent. Topped it all off with one of the best key lime pies I’ve ever had. I’d honestly come back tomorrow if I weren’t in the middle of a three-month road trip. Hopefully I’ll get another chance to eat here. Great food and excellent service! 👌
