Oldest Store Museum

What a fantastic experience! We were transported back in time to the year 1908 with our guide and store clerk Virgil, who was an incredible wealth of knowledge. He embodied his character perfectly and we felt so fortunate to learn from him. The store looks small from the front, but it’s actually much bigger and full of amazing items from its history. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to see Saint Augustine’s oldest store!

What an incredible experience! Our guide, Virgil, was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about St. Augustine, the store, and its history, but what really made the tour special was his sense of humor, quick wit, and ability to bring the history to life. He made the entire experience genuinely entertaining and unforgettable. The museum itself was fascinating and much more interactive and engaging than we expected. We learned a ton, laughed throughout the tour, and had a great time from start to finish. It was also a wonderful break from the Florida heat! If you’re visiting St. Augustine and looking for something that is historical, entertaining, and genuinely fun, I highly recommend stopping in. If you’re lucky enough to get Virgil as your guide, you’re in for a great experience!
