Gorgeous to visit at sunrise. The parking lot provides lots of shade and it’s about a half mile walk to the beach from there. Bathrooms located near parking lot. When I visited, the beach was a bit stinky but that’s Florida beaches in the summer. Would recommend on a cooler day. 🏄🏼♀️ Note, stop at sunrise brew before visiting and get a lovely coffee and yogurt for the morning.
I loved it here today, the weather was perfect. The bathrooms were a little stuffy though. Went to change and had to stop and open the door in order to breathe. But other than that the walk down the boardwalk was nice too!! Even saw what is called a river rat to for the first time in my life.
What a nice little park. Clean facilities, outdoor shower and lovely shaded walkway down to the ocean. Lovely.
Great shell beach, nice boardwalk, 3 stars because it wasn't open sat morning and the sign inside the gate said 6am to 8pm.it was 630 when we first showed up and still Noone came to open it when we cane back at 705
I saw so much cool wildlife on this walkway on the way to the beach. The beach is beautiful with plenty of shells
