Good tourist/ college bar kinda vibe with some interesting decorations. I appreciate the "we don't take ourselves very serious" decor and the prompt service. The bar is no frills and good at what they do. Don't think for one second that this is a good place to bring small children or people who do not like close quarters! It's a BAR! DRINKS ARE WHAT YOU WANT TO FOCUS ON!
Normally I don’t like posting bad reviews but this was unacceptable and embarrassing! Don’t waste your time coming here if you’re a part of the younger 21+ crowd, bartenders will lie and say your id is fake without logic or proof. White guy with a mustache and young maybe mixed girl can’t tell the difference between a real or fake Florida Id, refusing us service last night after checking our ids, multiple other reliable forms of identification, and asking us questions which we answered gladly. The girl checked ours first saying mine was fake and “peeling”, there’s zero imperfections in my id it’s in perfect condition!!! Then she handed them both to the dude who switched things up saying my friends Id is fake not mine. He even looked up real fl ids on his phone to check because he doesn’t know what they look like. She got her id in 2018, I got mine renewed in 2023 so theres minor differences. My friend and I are both over 21 provided all the proof and he still tried to embarrass us holding them up high saying they were both definitely fake loud enough for everyone around to hear. They stared at us the whole time we walked in and decided what we wanted so I’m sure they made up their mind about serving us before we even ordered. Def need Id scanners and experienced bartenders so this stops happening to people who are just trying to enjoy their night! Wasn’t denied anywhere else our entire trip and was looking forward to coming here. If our ids were definitely fake like he said why didn’t they try to keep them or call the cops like the other reviews say?
Friendly staff, it was a cold day and we were the only ones in there for a time. I can see where this place might get loud and crowded, but for today it was perfect
Hands down the Best nightlife spot in St Augustine! Live bands and top tier Dj’s with a Dive Bar Vibe..Daytime ppl watching is also great as the property is directly across from the historic Fort + the burger is delicious. 😎🍻
Tony and I were walking around the city of St Augustine Florida, checking out the sites and shops. We stumbled across this little pub very close to the harbour and the Fort, with beautiful views that even included the bridge and lighthouse on Castillo Drive. Strange name, No Name Bar! I would have to give it a beautiful name to go with it's beautiful location. I went inside and got Tony a PBR and myself a glass of Ice Water. We sat outside on the lovely deck enjoying the gorgeous view and slight breeze off the water. A perfect day!! After drinking, we continued our stroll of the city. The bar is very lovely inside and out. Bartender friendly. Smoking outside available not a lot of parking, but we were walking so perfect for us!
