Adam came to Georgia and brought some Old Coast Ales to share with us, and what a treat it was! It was amazing to see our favorite son and get some much-needed hugs, but the fact that he arrived with great beer made the visit even more special! So far, we've tried Tango, Prickly Pear, and Static Haze, and every one of them has been outstanding. Each beer is unique, well-crafted, and packed with incredible flavor. We still have Burt's Summer and Kookaburra waiting to be sampled, and we can't wait to experience those as well. We're pretty picky when it comes to our beer selections, so it's not often that we're this impressed. Old Coast Ales has truly delivered across the board. A huge shout-out to Jon for creating such exceptional beers and fostering what sounds like a very cool atmosphere. We can't wait to visit in person and experience the brewery for ourselves. If you're in St. Augustine, be sure to stop by Old Coast Ales. The beer is spectacular, and Beer Tender Adam is a pretty awesome dude, too! 🍻 Cheers!
Wow! Can't say enough about our experience at Old Coast. It was a very busy Saturday but we were able to get a table outside. After going through some samples and suggestions from brewmster Jon, I decided on the Kolsch beer, delicious. We also ordered a Tango second round. We both thoroughly enjoyed our drinks, they paired well with Osprey tacos next door. Definitely a must visit in St. Augustine!
Another solid brewery in St. Augustine that is worth a try! Old Coast Ales has a good selection of beers, with an emphasis on hoppy ales and IPAs. They also have some stouts and a really good Mexican lager as well, which is fitting since theres a taco place right next door which you can eat while having a beer. Great place to chill, with both indoor and outdoor areas.
Ok beer, the prickly pear was one of the better ones. We both had a flight, which they gave us 6 samples, which is better than the normal 4. The bartender was extremely good, he was the only one working and it was pretty busy (Memorial Day weekend), so kudos to him for remaining on point with everyone waiting to be served. He didn't get flustered or "short" with anyone and same goes for the people waiting, everyone was being understanding and waiting patiently.
Very laid back place. Plenty of seating. I got a flight and I enjoyed each of the dark brews on the menu. The Kookaburra and Ol' Horner were very good but the Blvd Brown was my favorite. My wife enjoyed the No A'postrophe. Very dog friendly place, there were 4 dogs there while we were there. Definitely will come back to try again.
