New Kazu Sushi Burrito

The food had good flavor and the speed of service was reasonable. I ordered the tempura shrimp and smoked eel just the way it comes. I got 3 shrimp and 3 undercooked pieces of eel. I realize it is smoke so it has a different texture so be prepared. The proteins were cold which was also strange. I understand it’s a deconstructed sushi roll so everything is served cold but something just didn’t sit right with me. The foul sewage smell upon entry was a huge red flag so I should have gone somewhere else. The flavor was there but I would not recommend this location.

If I could give negative I would. The shorter gentleman was rude and has no customer service skills. I ordered a dynamite roll and it was mushy, had no batter and no flavor. When I took the dish back for a replacement, yes I was willing to have them remake it. He took the bag refunded my money less the tax and tip and walked away saying nothing. I should have known better by the sewer odor in the establishment. Never again.

Food is fantastic, the combination of flavors and colors make this place unique. Poke bowl was very good, burrito bowl was also great. This is place yo come back and try all their different dishes.

Kazu Sushi Burrito was really flavorful. I had the Teriyaki Shrimp with white rice. The only thing I did not like was that my vegetables were still hard. Especially the broccoli. The establishment is very clean and tidy. The price wasn't too expensive but definitely do not come here if you are on a budget.
