I was pretty excited hearing about this place, hoping for a roast beef sandwich like that of Supremes in Danvers, MA. It was good. I had the large 3-way classic. I didn't realize until after I ordered the large came on a sesame seed roll instead of the onion roll... so something you might consider. The beef was nice and rare and had great flavor. My only issue was the toughness. I was surprised it didn't pull apart when biting through. It's almost like it was sliced the wrong way. So there are some things that could be improved. The restaurant is a nice atmosphere, fast casual, where you order at the counter, get your own fountain soda... and of course get asked to tip for service. The menu actually looks like a lot of great choices that you really don't find around here. Unfortunately, I felt like its priced higher than it delivers. I recommend giving it a shot. A large 3-way, soda, and 15% tip was like $22. The lobster 🦞 roll is Market price, currently $27 as of this review. Oh, at they are tucked in the back right corner of the plaza where Jax Fish Fry was.
Just had lunch and it was wonderful! Everyone was very friendly and professional. Beautifully decorated and they even have a kids small play area inside and outside on the patio. I really hope they are here to stay!!
I'm so sorry, the food was absolutely terrible. I can't believe I saw so many good reviews and praises. And I should have known better, because it's florida👀 and as a native new englander i don't want to hear that I don't know what I'm talking about!, but that was one of the most disgusting Roast Beef sandwiches. I've ever had, and don't waste your money or calories on those freaking donuts. I even said something before ordering them about How i've lived here for thirty years, and not once had anything, even remotely close to an actual apple cider, donut, and I just assume that it was a new england restaurant, so they knew what they were doing, but it's just some cinnamon donuts from the store that they like heat up. And add some extra sugar to on the outside. Truly, truly truly disappointin. The roast beef had that like three day old smell. The kind of smell that when I go and buy lunch meat from the grocery store, I will not eat it anymore once it smells like that. So it's definitely a one and done for me. Definitely a waste of money and calories. Sadness
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing new spot! Ned's New England Deck is such a great addition to St. Johns. The interior is beautiful — bright, clean, and full of coastal New England charm. The menu has so much to choose from: lobster rolls, clam chowder, poke nachos, sandwiches, and more. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. They also have a nice drink selection and a little market with New England goodies. Can't wait to come back!
Had a great experience w a few hiccups but nothing to deter us from going back. Bowl of New England clam chowder; wonderful flavor( little clams and potatoes maybe had 4) classic roast beef: delicious! Missing cheese and was supposed to come w chips and cole slaw it had tartar and chips no big deal not worth a complaint. It was so very good. Cold lobster roll: delicious! Asked for fries and onion strings. Didn’t get the fries ( did not get charged) onion strings were very greasy and almost disintegrated- 2 waters. Bill was $72. Being from NE it was a nice lunch and the staff was super friendly Wish they had stock of whoopie pies! Hopefully next time i can get the right order. Will be back
