Yesterday was my first visit, and I left completely satisfied. The young lady was very respectful and friendly, and the menu was excellent. I ordered wings with yams and greens, along with sweet tea. Everything was delicious. The portion was good too. I wish I lived nearby so I could eat here every day. Both the food and prices exceeded my expectations.
We were in the area and happened to stumble upon Miller’s Soulfood Kitchen, and HOLY COW this place is AMAZING. We stopped to try it as the corner was packed with cars and you could smell the food from down the way. $5 for a meal, so you can’t beat that price anywhere and this is good home cooking! My husband and I shared the smothered pork plate and added an additional side of baked beans with the strawberry pineapple drink. Everything was delicious! The baked beans were the best I’ve ever had. It’s establishments like this that our communities need. Go show Miller’s some love. We will be back soon!
I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that's in, passing or even visiting Jacksonville. This is probably one of the best places I've ever eaten in my life. It's truly a local gem. The only reason anyone would or could ever have a complaint about this food is because they are use to eating bland foods and have no sense of taste. Everything is made from scratch and well seasoned.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stumbled upon Miller’s SoulFood kitchen by chance during our road trip from Florida to Georgia, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we had on the entire trip. The food was absolutely incredible, rich, flavorful, and comforting in every bite. The guys working there were just as memorable as the food itself. They were warm, funny, and made the whole experience feel personal. Their reaction to the 10 euro tip I left honestly made my day. You could tell they really cared. If you’re anywhere in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. We found this place randomly, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. Real Soul Food, real people, real hospitality.
I love the drink. I've had every last one of them. Meatloaf itself was good. The meatloaf was season just right. Will just get meat loaf next time.
