Mestizo Mex Cocina

This was my first time to Mestizo. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, staff are friendly and the food is great. I ordered the steak and cheese burrito and it was huge. It was filled with well seasoned tender steak and queso cheese. The spicy margarita is actually spicy, but not too spicy, and a good portion size. It is a bit pricey though. Our waitress was bubbly and polite. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The decorations and layout of the dining area are excellent. Fantastic first impression.

The service was awesome but the food was terrible. Nothing like authentic Mexican food. The presentation of the food was beautiful but the flavor was lacking. The corn tortillas were soggy and wet. The salsa Verde tasted like grass. No spice no flavor. The beans were good. The rice was mushy not like typical Mexican red/orange rice. Didn't even finish my plate

My husband and I absolutely LOVE this place! The Birria tacos are second to none! The service and atmosphere is always top tier! Angel always makes sure no matter how busy he is, that he makes sure our experience is nothing short of amazing!!

We had such a great experience here! The restaurant has a clean and beautifully decorated atmosphere...cute, inviting, and perfect for a night out. The cocktail menu is so fun and unique, with creative flavors you won’t find everywhere. The food menu is vast, offering plenty of options, and everything we tried was packed with delicious flavors. A special shoutout to Angel, who provided amazing service, friendly, attentive, and incredibly fast. Angel really made the dining experience extra enjoyable. Overall, this is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends!
