Swanky and fully stocked is how I would describe this "brewery" in Mayport. This is a full-scale bar, so no kiddies. This is my 38th brewery visited in Florida. Definitely a lot of money invested in this place and it shows. Very nice building, LARGE beer selection, nice outdoor area, well maintained, and overall tasteful decor from the padded barstools to the lighting fixtures. Definately a LOT of money invested here. Overall, the patrons seemed happy here and the beer was good...not exceptional, but good. Wish they had less Hazy IPAs, but that's not the reason for the 4 stars. I actually had a good experience here except I was a little annoyed that I rode 45 min just to find out that the entire bar was closed for a private event until 6pm...so, I had to visit the other breweries in town for 2 hours before I could get my first beer. Otherwise, good beer, GREAT environment and good location...just call ahead if you're coming from out of town.
The only place in the area that I've found so far that has a selection (not just Guinness) of Porters and Stouts. It's August now and to actually find my type of beer on tap is amazing! Pool table is free and even on a rainy day the place was still popping. I will be back! Mary was my bartender and I was served nearly immediately without having to try to get her attention. Very attentive. Love this place.
Attractive interior space featuring two service bars (offering full liquor and wine), duckpin bowling, billiards, multiple televisions, varied seating provisions (table, lounge, doubles, bar high-top, etc.) and exterior space ft. two fire features, surrounded by multi-seat sectionals, large-screen televisions, and additional rail seating. This 21+ ONLY bar provides an excellent space in which to socialize amongst friends, watch the game(s) and indulge in one or MORE of their house beers (brewed off-site at King Maker; lagers were as CLEAN and crisp as can be) or 30+ guest taps, including the likes of Toppling Goliath and Maine Brewing Company. Food truck presence available on certain days; bar service was attentive and friendly during both visits. Great taproom addition to Mayport.
My neighbor and I stopped in just as they were opening for the day to beat the crowd. We grabbed ciders, chatted, and jetted before the crowd. This place is a cozy neighborhood brewery meets sports bar type of vibe. It has a nice selection of beers on tap, a full bar, wine, and something for y'all non-drinkers. There is pool, shuffleboard, and duckpin bowling. Plus outdoor seating with fire pits. They host events like trivia nights and sports watch parties. The staff are friendly. I got to sample the cider before ordering. I got the caramel apple. Very good! Although they don't serve food, rotating food trucks stop in. Nice place to hangout with your crew.
Large and spacious (both indoors and outdoors), lots of game and alcohol options, TVs and a cool board that continually changes. The only downside for me is no kids allowed which I get. Check this brewery out if you are in the area.
