Margaritaville Beach Hotel Jacksonville Beach

The location is excellent, and the lobby and overall hotel design are beautiful. The rooms are also nice and comfortable. However, I did notice two areas that need improvement. The water pressure in the shower was quite weak, and the toilet cleaning was very disappointing. I noticed urine stains on the toilet seat, which made me question the attention to cleanliness. Overall, the hotel has a great location and a very nice atmosphere, but the bathroom cleanliness and shower water pressure need more attention.

The beach view is amazing! Staff at the front desk, drink place, ice cream and gifts to the restaurant. Everyone was so friendly! The room: one sink didn't work, half shower glass door odd, hair yes in the shower and bed, stain on a chair. The bed was real comfortable. You have to valet it was $12. Valet people were friendly as well. The branding for this is on point! You can sit on the beach as they do have chairs and umbrellas. There's also a swimming pool.

Loved the location on the beach. We had a partial ocean-view room with a balcony. We sat on the balcony a lot since we could see the beach to the right and the sunset to the left. Bed was comfortable, but water pressure was pretty low. Great views from the lobby and bar. Everyone there was friendly and helpful especially Ron, who really helped at check-in. We will be going back.

⭐⭐ Beautiful view, but communication and service fall flat I want to start with what went right: the room itself was nice, the view overlooking the pier was genuinely great, and check-in was smooth and easy. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Before our stay, I made two reservations — one overnight stay for a friend's birthday, and a multi-day reservation for the 4th of July, which included tickets to their 4th of July event and a snack package. Those event tickets and snack items never appeared on my invoice confirmation, so I called AND emailed several times to get it straightened out. I received nothing back. No return call, no email, no acknowledgment whatsoever. When a guest is trying to give you MORE money for your own event and can't get a response, that's a serious operations problem. I ended up cancelling the 4th of July reservation. The birthday reservation was attached to an old card, and the only communication I ever received from this hotel was a payment issue email that arrived well after I could do anything about it. By that point, I no longer wanted to stay anyway, so I let that one cancel too. My husband separately booked a 4th of July room (the one overlooking the pier), which is how we ended up staying after all. During the stay: valet was extremely rude — easily the worst service interaction of the trip — and we ate at the restaurant downstairs, which was honestly terrible. Bottom line: nice room, great view, but for what this hotel charges, it is not worth it. You can get the same view, a better room, and far better service in Jax Beach for the same price. The lack of any response to multiple calls and emails is what really lost me — I'd think twice before booking here again.
