The vibes and energy in this coffee shop/restaurant are 10/10! It was my first time visiting and the staff were warm and welcoming. I came here as a second option for matcha and it didn’t disappoint. The passion matcha was good. I can tell it’s made with good matcha. I wish it was made with a fresh passion fruit puree instead of a syrup since the name of the restaurant is maracuya. My kids liked the ham and Swiss cruffin. I’ll have to sit in next time to really enjoy the atmosphere.
Stopped by West King’s Maracuya for a cup of coffee and a cappuccino this morning. I love the way they have made this little home such a cozy spot—all kinds of attention to detail and original decor, not to mention the most fabulous restroom 😂 They also have some outdoor seating on the front porch and out back. The product is delicious, staff is chill and friendly. If you’ve never been, stop by! Don’t let limited parking prevent you from going—just park on the quiet, neighborhood the street…it’s easy! I'd suggest ignoring any negative reviews of this place.
Stopped by to work one morning and was so happy I did. Great coffees and pastries of all kinds. Super rich coffee flavor. The atmosphere is one of the best parts — cozy, modern, and perfect for relaxing with coffee or meeting up with friends. The staff was welcoming and genuinely friendly, making the whole place feel warm and inviting.
“Maracuya by Llama” is a gem. There were so many things I wanted to try here, but I had to hold myself back due to money and stomach space. They have a restaurant that I really want to try one day, and then they also have this small bakery with coffee, desserts, and wine. Their food items change seasonally, but we tried the Algarrobina Custard, the Sacred Valley, the alfajores shortbread cookies, the beef empanada, the pumpkin whoopie pie, and the Andean cheese bread. My favorites in order are (1) Beef Empanada (2) Alfajores (3) The Algarrobina Custard. The Algarrobina Custard: This had a really special and unique flavor, possibly because of the “Northern desert black carob syrup.” I enjoyed it! The Sacred Valley: This was a Peruvian chocolate mousse, and as good as the flavor was, I’m afraid it was too thick for me. The previous dessert tasted creamy and smooth, but this one was very heavy, and I needed some help finishing it. Alfajores: These were soooo amazing. They were delicious. I’m very happy we tried them. I had alfajores somewhere else before, and they were not good at all. These were spectacular. Beef Empanada: This was very delicious and easily my top choice! I really enjoyed the beef, and the sauce for this is addicting. That said, I wish the olives were more prominent or noticeable in the taste. It was a good size. Pumpkin Whoopie Pie: I didn’t really like this one. The bread (cake-like cookies?) was too big, dense, and heavy, and I wasn’t a fan of the cream inside either. Andean Cheese Bread: I liked the color and texture of this. The taste didn’t blow me away, but it was still nice to try.
Best coffee ambiance ti sit and have coffee and their sweet treats always hit the spot!🥰🙌🏼🎉🧁They always have some delicious to try!!
