We sat outside, which was nice. All servers were very nice. The menu looked amazing, but we waited over 45 minutes for our food on a Tuesday at 11 am. The chicken biscuit was delicious, but $12 is expensive when nothing comes with it. My boyfriend ordered the biscuit bowl. Sadly, it was inedible. The most shocking part is that the sausage "gravy" was most definitely NOT house made, and from a mix or a can, very disappointing from a southern restaurant. The bacon and hashbrowns were almost raw. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Had I gone to the bathroom first, I would not have eaten there. And the soap for employees to wash their hands with isn't even anti-bacterial.
We got a to-go order this morning of three breakfast sandwiches. All were delicious!!! We had bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel (pictured) and two bacon egg and cheese croissants. We were all happy customers. They also had delicious baked goods, great atmosphere and service. I look forward to dining in next time. If I ever visit Amelia Island again, I'll be back!
This place is great. The Risk It Biscuit stole the show! The eggs were a soft scramble and the gravy was especially flavourful. The pimento cheeseburger was a close second. They make the pimento cheese in house. I ordered it medium and it came out beautifully. They offer a sprinkle of cheddar to their grits which is a nice touch. The tomato basil soup was smooth but rich. An easy win if you find yourself in Fernandina Beach.
I really liked this place! We arrived right after the doors opened for breakfast. Nice atmosphere, felt cozy. All the servers were very friendly with all the customers. My husband and I ordered the Spinach Quiche and the Fried Green Tomato Eggs Benedict. We substituted the hash browns for the In-house made Corn Beef Hash. Sorry guys, I was so hungry, no time to take pictures, but trust me, everything was very good! I would definitely order what we had again. Loved the glass of water! A mason jar full of crushed ice and water, it was cold and refreshing! I know, it was just a glass of water, but it was the best one I've received! I hardly drink water from any place, but this one was on point! I did manage to take pictures of their coffee menu and their bakery menu. The servers even come out carrying a freshly made, right out of the oven sweets, walking around letting customers know what the baked item is (Zucchini cake and Cinnamon rolls) resist the temptation 😉 All and all, I highly recommend coming here. The food was exceptional, the service was friendly and I think the price was reasonable. Cheers!
Thank you Holly for a very delicious breakfast and classic mimosa(I was not fond of the watermelon mimosa but it was interesting) Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious to eat, from the French toast, to biscuits n gravy, and Swiss ham n cheese croissant. Sweetest waitress with red braids was so accommodating and fast service!
