M Brothers at Mayo

I am a huge fan of all of the Medure Brothers concepts and had never tired M Brothers. My husband and I try to do a mid week date night and it was my turn to choose a place and I chose M Brothers. We live in the area so it was easy to access and complimentary valet is offered as well. We had an amazing experience and the food was phenomenal. Our server Kaylee has been at the restaurant since it opened and was very knowledgable, helpful and service oriented. She gave me a tour of the whole restaurant including the wine room which was a great spot for private dinners. Their wine selection is phenomenal. I think the only negative is that the ambience leaves a little bit to be desired. Since you are in a hospital, you already have a preconceived notion about it being a sterile environment, but they did a great job making it feel special for those who may have family who want a nice meal or even patients who have the ability to come down for a meal. Regardless, I would highly recommend and think that the Medure Brothers and Mayo are really onto something and that other hospitals and medical facilities should follow suit!

I had the distinct pleasure recently of dining at M Brothers at Mayo, while waiting at Mayo Clinic Hospital for a relatives outpatient surgery to be completed. I was as impressed with the restaurant detail and food, as I was with the efficiency and attention to detail of the hospital itself. This is definitely an unexpected dining oasis, that I had heard about, but had never previously enjoyed. Great ambiance, service from Kaleen, and fare, especially the House-Made Breads and Salads. It's not often that you would consider a trip to the hospital solely to dine, but an M Brothers at Mayo experience does it! I only wish we had time for the dessert!

I know what you’re thinking. A restaurant in a hospital? Hear me out. We stopped by this place for lunch when I was over for a consult. Pleasantly surprised to see this place! For lunch that day I had the Mediterranean nachos and my husband had the Korean bao. The atmosphere is casual and laid back for lunch in the lounge. Staff is amazing! We had to come back to Mayo for a scan two weeks later. Decided to have dinner. Dinner was superb! High end quality food. I had the tuna poke bowl, it was huge! My husband had the lamb and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant area for dinner has the elegant vibe with lower lighting. You can see the open kitchen concept as well. Wine list was good. Staff again was excellent! Manager was a joy to speak with as well. Every month they have a passport dinner night where they take a region and the chef adds their flare to that regions cuisine. The dates are on the website for what region is each month. If you live in the area you may not even know this place exists. You need to come try this place out! No need to worry about parking… they have complimentary valet! I plan on spreading the word about this place and you should too!

It so nice to have a gourmet meal while taking care of my health at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. The bartenders/servers Jordon & Brandon were fantastic and led to an excellent experience. We loved to having Frank Family Cabernet at half price on this Monday evening. The salmon and chicken entrees were both fantastic. I highly recommend.
