Lupita's Mexican Food

Absolutely incredible little mom-and-pop Mexican spot. Lupita’s is exactly the kind of hole-in-the-wall place I love finding. Nothing fancy, just genuinely great food and really kind people. I ordered the menudo and a barbacoa taco, and both were fantastic. The menudo was rich, flavorful, and loaded with tripe, and the barbacoa was tender and delicious. You can tell the food is made with care. What really made the experience, though, were the people. I spoke with an older man and woman working there who I imagine are the owners, and they could not have been nicer or more welcoming. Places like this are what make local restaurants special. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in Jacksonville, especially a great bowl of menudo, Lupita’s is absolutely worth seeking out. I’ll definitely be back.

I just tried this place out because I seen it on Facebook Jacksonville restaurant reviews and it was rated the number one Chilirelleno in Jacksonville and I thought that was amazing considering it is my favorite dish. I must try it. The food was really good. The service was really good such a sweet, kind lady small mom and Pop restaurant for sure. Come, give it a try and help out real home cooking great Mexican food it was amazing 🥰

The food is amazing and the portions are big enough for 2 people to share .The owners are very friendly. Service is great.I live in St John's and Ialways come here for great food .
