Los Dos Carnales Food Truck 1

Wife's new favorite late night pick up and go. We live around the corner so we have now stopped a few times after getting off work late and nobody has the energy to cook. We've tried all the variations of the quesadilla and will be back for more! She can be picky about price and portion (very understandable in this economy) and both are wife approved. Can't go wrong with something made fresh, packed with protein, and right around the corner. We hope this food truck stays in the neighborhood!

My wife and I stopped by here not too long ago this evening, and we definitely will not be coming back to this food truck. Everything started off fine, we ordered after being told a few things we asked about were all sold out at the moment— no big deal! Told it would be a 20 minute wait so we decided to sit at the provided seating right in front of the food truck. Maybe only 5ish people seemed to be waiting around us, people who ordered after us were receiving their orders. To which we started noticing after 30 minutes had passed. Then someone who ordered after us received one of the items that was apparently sold out. A few minutes after this, a couple had come to order and asked for the steak on all their items, this was something we were also told was sold out. After about 40 minutes of waiting, I asked one of the gentleman when my order was going to come out as it had been pushing 40-45 minutes. Not sure if he had just set it there or what, but he grabbed the bag in front of him and proceeded to ask me if I already paid. No one else was asked this… very unsure if this treatment was just because we happened to order at the wrong time or due to other reasons, I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

The burritos and tacos are good, well-made. But avoid the nachos (any kind) and the carnitas (pulled pork) meat option. The cheese they use on the nachos is not good and the chips are not fresh. The carnitas meat has a lot of fat portions in it and mine was undercooked. Other than that, it wasn't all that bad.
