  I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Louis was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We decided to switch flood insurance providers because another policy better fit our needs financially and offered coverage that worked better for our family. From the beginning, the process of canceling our previous policy was unnecessarily difficult. When I called to clarify what documentation was needed, Louis immediately cut me off before I could even finish my question. His tone was rude, sarcastic, and dismissive. We later arranged a three-way call with our new insurance company to determine exactly what paperwork was required. Throughout the conversation, Louis repeatedly interrupted the representative, talked over her, and would not allow her to finish her questions. Ironically, while constantly interrupting, he repeatedly accused her of cutting him off. As someone who was listening to the entire conversation, I found his behavior completely unprofessional. The issue ultimately came down to a misunderstanding regarding which declaration page had been provided. We were actively trying to resolve the situation and obtain the correct updated document. Had Louis been patient and willing to communicate professionally, the matter could have been resolved quickly and easily. When I respectfully pointed out that he had been rude and repeatedly interrupting throughout the call, he chose to hang up on us rather than continue assisting. At that point, any opportunity for productive communication ended. I am genuinely surprised by some of the positive reviews because my experience was the complete opposite. No customer should be treated this way when simply trying to understand what documentation is needed. I hope management or ownership is made aware of how customers are being spoken to and treated, because the level of professionalism I experienced was unacceptable.
