I transfered my 2 year old here 5 weeks ago and honestly it was the best decision I could make. In only a few weeks I see my daughter is happy and actually loves coming. Her last daycare she cried everytime I dropped her off and she was there for 2 years! The ladies here are lovely and caring. No complaints so far! Just to add 3 months later and still loving it. I love how they update what the lesson of the day was and the activities they are doing. Having the picture updates are nice too! Im happy I made the choice to come here
The tour experience was great, the staff member who showed me around was patient, kind, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. As a parent, I asked detailed questions about things that matter to me, including potty training, communication, and food/allergies. I was told potty training would be child-led, with regular bathroom reminders (every 15–25 minutes if needed), and that communication would be strong through the Playground app. Unfortunately, our actual experience did not match what was communicated. My child had a good start on Monday and Tuesday, but by Wednesday–Friday she became very upset. Every photo showed her looking sad, which was concerning. I trusted my instincts and picked her up early on Friday, and that’s when I learned they had been putting pull-ups on her. We do not use pull-ups, and I had clearly given instructions to take her to the bathroom every 20 minutes since she is newly potty training. Their wording was that they had been using pull-ups “for a few days,” but this had never been communicated to me or my husband beforehand. This lack of transparency was very concerning and likely explains why my child was so distressed. Communication overall was very poor. We did not receive consistent updates about basic things like when she used the bathroom, what she ate, or how she was adjusting, despite being told communication was a priority. For us, daycare should be a partnership, not a one-sided process. Food and allergy communication was also inconsistent. I was initially told I could not bring outside food, but that they would accommodate her allergies. Later, I learned (after reviewing documents myself) that bringing food with a doctor’s note was actually allowed. I even scheduled a doctor’s appointment and provided documentation, only to be told it was not in the correct format, something that was never explained upfront. There seemed to be a lack of clarity and internal communication among staff, as I even overheard confusion about what my child could eat. The director’s communication style was also very disappointing. While I appreciate directness, I did not feel heard during our conversation. I was interrupted frequently, and my concerns were dismissed rather than acknowledged. The resolution given was simply that the daycare may not be a good fit, which I ultimately agree with, but there was no accountability for what occurred. To be fair, I do believe the staff is trying, and I appreciated their focus on nutrition. However, for me, transparency, communication, and trust are non-negotiable, especially when it comes to my child. If you are looking for a daycare with detailed communication and a true partnership approach, this may not be the right fit. I’m very disappointed because I genuinely hoped it would work out.
This child care center is amazing! We just switched in January and I am so happy with the difference in the quality of care we are receiving. My son is currently in the infant room with Ms Laura. She is friendly and keeps me up-to-date daily with how he is doing. She is great with sending pictures of him that are amazing. He loves seeing her every morning at drop off! The front office staff is also friendly and helpful. The other rooms I have walked through are welcoming and engaging.
Our daughter has attended LB since she was 1 1/2 and now our son goes there as of July. We can’t say enough great things about LB, especially the staff. Our kids have had several wonderful teachers in the last few years including Ms. Emma, Ms. Kennedy & now Ms. Laura & Ms. April for vpk & Ms. Melissa & Ms. Shelley for our son. We never have any complaints and if we ever need anything it is taken care of. Great education & great fun always! They are always picked up happy and I know they are loved & safe in their care. Ms.Amanda is also a great cook & so accommodating when our son had a dairy allergy. Thank you all!
Good afternoon, I would personally like to Thank Mrs. Laura for being such an amazing teacher every day to my little princess. Ms. Laura is so hands on and informative every day. She also keeps the app updated. She has a great connection with all of the children in infant A and always treat every one of them as her own. I couldn’t be more grateful to have her as my daughter teacher! I wish she could be her teacher forever. The other staff in the office are always helpful and always have a positive attitude each day. I would recommend any child to this daycare they will put your mind at ease knowing your child is in great care everyday.
