Joshua Parry was my realtor for my first home purchase. From beginning to end he was the most professional, personable, and helpful person. Always a phone call away. He always answered my million questions with a smile. What could have been the most stressful process, he made seamless. For any realty needs, I would highly recommend him for hire. I am forever grateful to him for all the hard work he put into helping me find my place to call home. I will absolutely be utilizing him in the future when time for new property searching comes. My first experience as a first-time home buyer was nothing less than exceptional because of my agent, Linda Strickland. I purchased my home in Riverside in October of 2014 after about 9 months of searching. The process wasn't easy for me. I was doing it alone (I'm single) and with no guidance except for what I got from Linda. Truthfully, I felt a little bad that I relied so much on her input to know what I was going to do because I'm sure it was a little unexpected for her. But she handled it really well and that's what made me want to stick it out with her instead of search for someone else. We looked at several different houses throughout Riverside, Ortega, Ortega Forest and other areas and she was always on time, early or was great at letting me know she was running behind. Very professional. But it didn't end there. Doing this search on my own, and for the first time, meant that I was starting from scratch with my knowledge on real estate buying and the real estate market. So, I had a TON of questions. Fortunately, she had a TON of answers and she would rattle them off without hesitation most of the time because her 30 plus years of experience and her being a landlord gave her a wealth of experience and knowledge. Experience and knowledge that I was grateful to have throughout the entire process. I have lived in my house for a little over a year now and am very happy with my purchase. In the end, I found the home through a craigslist posting rather than an MLS listing but I wouldn't have known what to look for without all of her endless help. As a person, Linda is very kind and always considerate. She is also very energetic, which always manages to catch me off-guard, in a very delightful way. She is to-the-point in her conversations and I really appreciate that because it meant that I didn't have to wonder if she was lying to me just to get my money (something I've found is actually quite common in the industry of real estate). She never gave me the impression that it was about the money to her and she even set me up with a room to stay in temporarily while I had nowhere to live between leaving my apartment and moving into my new home. I told her I would just look for a hotel to stay in but she insisted, which was heart-warming for me because it made me feel more like a friend than a customer. Now, I'm not saying she will just hand out rooms to stay in but she will most certainly go above and beyond in ways you'll wish every business did. She is an exceptional agent and person and I'm glad to have met her. Fast forward to 2018 where I called her up to sell my house because I decided to move to Fort Worth, Texas. She was so awesome the first time around I wanted to make sure she knew I appreciated her. I sold that house in February and it was under contract 2 days after it was listed! I'm in Fort Worth now about to purchase another home and I wish I had her here.
