Lab at Baptist HealthPlace at Nocatee

Took my 4yr old son here for blood work and an x-ray. The ladies working there were so kind! They did an amazing job with my screaming son while drawing his blood, and they were incredibly understanding when he threw up everywhere. I was panicking and trying to clean everything up, but they reassured me that everything was okay. They told me they would take care of the mess while I took my son home. I wish I had gotten their names, but this was on July 20 around 1:30 pm. They all deserve raises!

Employees are extremely unprofessional. While waiting for my labs, another patient came in and responded to the desk attendant's questions awkwardly. They then made fun of him once he left the room very loudly for the whole room to hear. Taheera mocked his age and conduct loudly along with an older white woman with curly silver hair. When confronted about the abysmal conduct, the two women tried to gaslight us into believing that we misheard them. We did not. She refused to give out her last initial in order to protect herself from the potential consequences of the mistreatment she had levied upon a patient. How can people feel safe in their medical treatment, something deeply personal and vulnerable, when people are being allowed to openly mock and mistreat someone that they know nothing about? They also said his name loudly, which I will not disclose here, unlike the desk clerks.

Updated November 2024 processing time faster but limited phlebotomists to draw blood. All stations working this morning but very positive and welcoming. They just get busier as the community grows. Opens at 7AM and there is almost always a line from patients FASTING for their Blood 🩸 Draw. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes from registration time to completing the process. Still a better process than when compared to other local lab options

Have been here twice now for important blood work for my two year old. Twice now, they didn’t draw the correct labs the first time and the second time it has now been 10 days and quest is saying they never received anything for him. Don’t ever take your children here if the results are time sensitive or important.
