La Nopalera Mexican Restaurant

Wonderful food and a great experience. I highly recommend for anyone that loves real Mexican food. I ordered the chori pollo. Everything was fresh and timely. Our waitress was attentive and polite.

A favorite for our family whether River City or the Beach Blvd location. The Arroz Parmesano 🤌🏾 *chef’s kiss. Definitely can’t eat in one sitting. The atmosphere is lively, bright & exciting. Kid friendly and food is always FRESH! They have daily specials & their lunch is a perfect choice for business or friends out and about.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I have never had a worse experience when going out to eat. when we got there, there was only one other group of like 4 girls and then me and my friend, no one wanted to greet us for at least 10 minutes or more. Had to wave down the bartender to get seated, just to find out the waitress was in the bathroom, the whole time, just for her to immediately come out and play with her hair and needing to be told that she had somebody in her spot and without washing her hands. She came over to take our order, which is unsanitary, to interact with a customer with unclean hands. It took forever for us to get our food. I'm understanding that there was only two people in the dining room that could be servers, but that was still a bit excessive for only five people being in the building, and the group that was there when we first got there already seemed to be done with their meal. Then, when we order our food, they bring it out wrong. Forcing us to have to get one of our foods remade just for them to remake it wrong again, and then when we said something to the bartender, who had been more of a waiter to us than our actual waitress, he was very dismissive, an almost patronizing with our complaints, trying to make it seem like the 2 servers had a lot going on when they clearly didn't. When are waitress kept going out? Side and/or playing with her hair brushing it out and ignoring us just for us to have to ask the bartender for our check and him, to tell us that he can't bring it to us, that our waitress will, if our waitress to turn around with a nasty attitude to bring us our checks and to go containers, she barely had anything to do with us. Never asked about refills on our drinks. Let alone couldn't even separate our order correctly On our receipts And generally seemed to not care about us whatsoever. I'm usually a humongous fan of this restaurant. But definitely not this location. We'll never go again. We will continue to go to our regular at least there. They care about us.
